Eclectic selection of wine and spirits

I decided to take a seat at the bar while having my lunch. The bar is newer and the space has plenty of seating. I can't remember the name of the drink but it had Baijiu and egg white. I really enjoyed it. Grand Cru has more variety of mezcal and sotol than I've seen in any other bar, so that was pretty cool.

No food here. The drink wall just caught my attention as I was waiting on food that I ordered from another place. There was only one bartender working but, it was not crowded at all because it was about 2pm. It was a nice laid back kind of feel. I ordered a Midori sour. It was just ok. I would be willing to try something different next time.

They purposely hire White women who work the bar on 7-11-23 @1pm. This woman has a bad attitude and treats paying and tipping customers as beneath her and is very condescending in tone. Why they hire ppl like this , who knows. Yet, it speaks volumes of who they truly are as a unit.

I used to love this place. Now, it's terrible. $32 for a shot of Bakers bourbon. That's a $65 bottle. Service is total minimum too.

Great locally owned neighborhood bar and liquor store. The bar was recently expanded and I still am enjoying it (I still miss the old space TBH) – cocktails are excellent, very nice small beer + wine lists, too. Order food from stalls in the market — ramen, Thai food, sandwiches, pizza, lobster rolls, etc. A great place, especially sitting outside on a nice day. Casual and comfortable.

The bartenders are on point, the selection is beautifully curated, and the prices are super competitive with other local options.

I've been visiting Belvedere Square for years and since I've recently returned to Baltimore/decided to settle down here, I decided to stop by the bar with a friend. I had three glasses of wine along with my friend who had a beer and cocktail. We caught a ride home but after lounging inside and looking at the receipt, I noticed I was charged between $10 and $15 per glass of wine. Additionally, one of the glasses of wine I was charged, I hadn't even ordered.I went over the receipt a few times because I wanted to be sure and decided to call the bar. The gentleman on the phone informed me I had been charged properly and that I was charged for a 6oz pour, not the 30z. This wasn't made clear to me when I ordered. While my bartender was very attentive, she never asked if I wanted a 3oz or 6oz pour. I simply told her I wanted a single glass, not a bottle (as is the difference at other places sometimes) and so I thought I was purchasing each glass for roughly $5.50 to $7.00. Instead I was charged between $10 and $15. Again, this was never specified and she never asked, so when I ordered, I ordered under the assumption we were on the same page. Apparently, we weren't.When I called, while the bartender I spoke to was polite, he stood by the fact that I was poured 6oz. I explained to him this was never specified, and he repeatedly explained the difference between 3oz and 6oz. I repeatedly told him that my bartender never asked me which I preferred and that I assumed a pour was a pour. He stood his ground and I stood mine. In the end, and to save time I just paid though I didn't really want to because of the reasons stated above. After this experience, I can't recommend this place. If you do go, just be careful about your receipt and make sure to double check everything. I definitely got too comfortable and familiar with this place. Now I'm being overcharged. In short, lesson learned.Response to Owner/Manager:Appreciate your response but considering you all can't admit a mistake was made on your part and correct said mistake, no, I won't be returning and I stand by my review. All the best.

We stopped by Grand Cru when we were in Belvedere Square Market on NYE a few days ago. We didn't need anything (we were stocked up for the night already), but I wanted to check it out since it was still new to me (the last time I was at a Belvedere Market, it was a bagel shop!). I was really impressed by the selection and the size of the store. (It's a store and a bar!) Wines (including lots of natural wine options), liquor, beer - they sell a great variety of products - everything you need for a party or a wine night. (I love that you can get everything you need for a party at Belvedere Square Market now - cheese, meet, and fish options for your charcuterie at two of the other stalls and wine from Grand Cru; so convenient!) We ended up leaving with a bottle of wine that we like since our neighborhood shop has been sold out of it recently! I was really impressed that a store of its size has such a great selection! I'd happily return to try some wines at the bar or shop in the store!

Kind people and a good, inventive bar program! Package goods as well, with nice selection of local beers alongside wines that are handpicked.

Great, slightly upscale, neighborhood bar vibe in Belvedere Square. We come for trivia so we've gotten to try most of their standard menu. They have specialty cocktails and their draft beers which are usually local, seasonal and rotate every week or two. They have a sizable wine list that we have only begun diving into. They have a package goods carry out in the space right next door that also has a very nice selection of interesting stuff. We like Belgians and sours and there's always something we haven't seen, which is great for trying new beers. As well as the beer, they have lots of wine and spirits with a focus on the mid to top shelf brands.

The service Is terrible here. The staff acts like it is an inconvenience to wait on you.

Fabulous beer selection, full bar and of course wine. Prices are fair and they are super friendly.
