Outstanding pasta perfection in a quaint small space. Very limited seating so caution if you have a big group, but there’s also a few more seats at the bar (perfect for 1-2) and more outside if weather compatible. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Cosy space for casual, intimate, and more. Only wish was a bigger portion on my dish but still reasonable price and deliciously filling.

So so good, can’t wait to come back. Everyone who works here is so friendly, and the food was incredible. You can tell the quality of everything is top tier, down to the garlic and olive oil.

Amazing. They even had delicious GF pasta. Best Italian food I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time.

Granos is a neighborhood staple, the food may seem simple, but the flavors are robust and the staff is very friendly. Eating in the cave or on the side street, both offer a great atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal

Grano is an absolute gem. We finally had the opportunity to try it after so long being on our wishlist. It’s now on our forever list. Their food is delightful - rustic, thoughtfully prepared and absolutely bursting with flavor. The meatballs, in particular - I quite literally dream about them! The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between warmth and sophistication, creating an overall setting that feels welcoming. The staff are genuinely attentive and gracious, making everyone feel right at home. A truly delightful experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to return!

My first visit to Grano was more than a decade ago, when my now-husband planned a date night just outside of D.C. (we live in the District, but he went to Hopkins). All these years later, it’s become one of our favorite places — both for the nostalgia and as a go-to food stop on our many roadtrips up to New York.

The food is always consistent and comforting. Even as the menu evolves, they never hesitate to make my longtime favorite: aglio e olio peperoncini (this should be back on the menu permanently). We always start the same way — Caesar salad, meatballs, and burrata — then pick whatever pasta we’re in the mood for. It’s the kind of place where you can count on a great meal every time.

But beyond the food, what really keeps us coming back is the atmosphere and the people. Take tonight - it was absolutely pouring, and Katie had an umbrella ready and waiting to help us inside quickly and (mostly) dry. The hospitality here is unmatched, thanks to thoughtful touches like that — and wonderful longtime staff like Carmen who make you feel at home.

Even if we don’t get back as often as we’d like, every visit is memorable. Thank you, Grano — from Alexia, Justin, and Sadie 🐾

Is the food here good? Who knows. They tell you everything is in the bag but they don’t check. If you enjoy waiting to eat nothing, order here!

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in recent years. The clams were amazing and the wine list complemented everything on the menus. Service was top notch and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. We will go back!

The absolute best pasta and mussels. I come here for every special occasion and it never disappoints. It’s not been 3 years coming here and the food has been so consistently good. The mushroom ravioli is one of the best things I have ever had. I’m not exaggerating at all I promise. ORDER IT
