Would have rated higher if not for the service... the restaurant does not allow for reservations, so on arrival you are given a wait time, and put down your number. However, the hostess told us we would have to wait by the door since she would not call us or hold our table if we wandered around the neighborhood. It got very crowded while waiting. Wow - we lucked into an amazing dinner. Driving back to NYC from DC, I searched for an Italian restaurant near Baltimore and Grano Pasta Bar came up as a suggestion. It was a freezing night and the place was packed but we got seated within 15 minutes. Everything spelled amazing. We ordered salads and pastas which tasted even better! Outstanding pasta perfection in a quaint small space. Very limited seating so caution if you have a big group, but there’s also a few more seats at the bar (perfect for 1-2) and more outside if weather compatible. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Cosy space for casual, intimate, and more. Only wish was a bigger portion on my dish but still reasonable price and deliciously filling.
