My first visit to Grano was more than a decade ago, when my now-husband planned a date night just outside of D.C. (we live in the District, but he went to Hopkins). All these years later, it’s become one of our favorite places — both for the nostalgia and as a go-to food stop on our many roadtrips up to New York.

The food is always consistent and comforting. Even as the menu evolves, they never hesitate to make my longtime favorite: aglio e olio peperoncini...

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to in recent years. The clams were amazing and the wine list complemented everything on the menus. Service was top notch and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. We will go back!
