I’m a local resident of Pigtown and I work for a major hotel brand near BWI Airport. I will be bringing my Operations Manager’s business card to your organization for recruitment. Looking forward to working with you guys!

Easily the best service I have had in a restaurant in many years. Always attentive and kind. The food was incredible and fairly cheap for the quality.Would love to go back again.

I went here on Father's day and I really liked my chicken and waffles. I'm giving food a 5. I really like the space but it feels too open and bright. Maybe it just felt empty because there weren't a lot of people there and it is pretty wide open. I'm giving atmosphere a 4. The service was pretty horrendous: long periods of time between visits, long periods of time with empty water on the table, and long periods of time with empty alcoholic beverages on the table. It wasn't even that busy. But the main reason I'm posting is that if you've been there you may want to check your receipts. I paid for a group on my card and then collected from them later. I was calculating what they owe and noticed that the tax on my check is 15%! That's not a gratuity added. It goes subtotal, tax, total. It is 15%! I've called 3 days in a row and left messages with no call back. I want to know why it is 15% and I want to let others know. I'm assuming it is something wrong with their system because there are no laws on the books that I can see that would make tax 15%! Groundworks, if you see this, please check your voicemail and give me a call back. Thank you.Edit: I was able to resolve the tax matter with Groundworks.

I saw a post about Groundwork Kitchen so I decided to go while I was in the area. I got there 10mina before the dining room opened so I waited on the carry-out side. The service was great. I spoke with a young lady who made sure the dining side knew I was waiting and she also ended up being my waitress. I ordered the crispy cauliflower (app), vegan chicken sandwich w/fries (entree) and the blackberry cobbler (dessert). The cauliflower bites did come out cold but theyade me some fresh ones which were good. The portion sizes are enormous. The dessert was enough for 3 and the app is definitely shareable. I absolutely love the mission of Paul's Place and will support any endeavor they have. Great job with Groundwork Kitchen. I will be back to try more dishes.

Vegetarian options: I ordered all vegetarian meals. Crispy cauliflower, vegan chicken and berry cobbler.

This was an awesome spot to have a Father's Day Brunch. The atmosphere and music is very inviting. The food was very good and worth the price. From the Father's Day Brunch Menu, we tried:- Shrimp N' Grits-The V Plate-The Sunny's Burger & Fries-Blueberry Muffins & Butter-MimosasI may be missing a few things, but overall, everything was really good. Due to it being a new establishment, you may have to wait a bit for food, but I believe it was worth it. I will return to try their regular menu with family and friends. I highly recommend it.

[vegan review]Went there for lunch. They were serving brunch, the cook came out and personally apologized, and recommended the Korean bbq cauliflower, and then said "we'll have more plant based options next time we're open" (which is 45 days from writing this). The cauliflower was great.Only reason it's not a 5 star is because nowhere online did it say they wereonly serving brunch. HOWEVER i will be coming back and will most likely be changing the review.Highly recommended if you're in the mood for high quality food for a decent price. You get a slight bit more for what you pay for

Amazing dinner and most definitely will go back again (for dinner and really want to try their brunch now).We got an overly large selection of plates amongst 4 of us to try a little of everything. Biggest standouts were the crispy cauliflower (the table favorite for dinner) and the short rib egg roll (my next favorite). However, at the end of the night, the berry cobbler with olive oil and sea salt ice cream stole the show. The combination of the sweet berries and the salty cream was phenomenal. Our server was equally friendly, funny, and attentive. The dining room was beautiful and surprisingly it was easy to still converse and hear each other, even with the open industrial vibe they went with the space.Again, great place. Will definitely go again and bring others to share this gem with.
