My husband and I celebrated our 15th year wedding anniversary at Gunther and Co on 11/21/24. We were very pleased. The food was really good and the drinks were good also. The servicer was really good and very polite. We got a special treat at the end of our dinner to help celebrate our anniversary. That very nice of Gunther and Co. I wish that I remember my waiter's name. He was amazing. Yes, I will be returning.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this spot! Only my second time dining here but even better than the first time. Everything was delicious. My husband and I bopped around the menu and had the steamed dumplings, tahini Caesar salad, pork chops, roasted chicken, a variety of cocktails, and ended with the frozen coffee tart. The dumpling pastry had a great texture and the sauce that came with the dumplings really made the dish shine. The salad was a great spin on a Caesar with the lemony dressing being a refreshing change and the pickled red onion complimenting the citrus. My husband's chicken was juicy, melt in your mouth, the carrots that came with it were a lil undercooked though. My pork chop was amazing and a larger portion than I was expecting. I did not read the entree description fully because I wasn't expecting the sweetness of the maple glaze and crispy smashed sweet potatoes that came with it. Completely glazed (haha) over the sweet descriptors but I'm a fan of savory and sweet so I loved every bite. It also came with brussel sprouts with bacon bits. Usually not a fan of bacon and my brussel sprouts but this bacon was a perfect texture, flavor, and thickness. Cocktails were complex and well crafted throughout the meal. I'm usually not a dessert person but the tart was calling to me. I'm glad I got it! The chocolatey richness of the devil's food cake bottom, with the warm fluffy sweet toasted meringue, was brought together by the cold creamy coffee custard with its deep almost bitter coffee flavor holding you back from a sugar overload. It was so good! I enjoyed every bit from start to finish.

Dinner at Gunther’s was amazing. We shared a few appetizers and each did not disappoint. The space was a revitalized industrial space (brewery) with beautiful brick and metal accents throughout. The area was well-lit and open. Bathrooms were clean. Our server was attentive and descriptive when talking through different dishes. We started with the baked oysters, grilled octopus, crispy pork belly, and Brussels sprouts. I had the duck breast for the entree and it was perfectly cooked, soft, and flavorful. For dessert we shared the pumpkin custard and some spice bread. Cocktails were balanced, just had the old fashioned like drink myself. Overall, definitely recommend a visit and will come back in the future!

The cocktails are absolutely incredible. Art.
We loved the food. Loved the atmosphere and the bar seats are comfortable! Many restaurants get that wrong so it was worth mentioning. THE PARKER HOUSE ROLLS were 1,000% our favorite thing. Wow. The neighborhood was great. There were like four noodles in the tagliatelle and it was totally under-seasoned so that was a little ridiculous considering the price.

Desert was absolutely terrible. Please get a new “pastry chef” no flavor, no sweetness.
We tried three and all three were a 0/10

Did not have a good experience and we're in no hurry to return. It's a great space but the primadonna chef and incapable kitchen can't handle basic changes. On top of subpar service and attitude the food ranged from a nice salad to moist if boring, flavorless chicken.

A special thank you to Katie, who was an amazing and attentive server for our party. Also to Nancy for helping with the last minute reservation, I truly appreciate the help.

This was a business dinner, and I was responsible for choosing the location. I didn't know what to expect from the guests we were bringing, or really anything about them at all. I have been here before and as expected the team at Gunther & Co really nailed every single detail.
The cocktails from Andy and his team at the bar were perfect. Katie was always available when needed, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She guided the visiting guest through the choices, which helped us make quick decisions and this got the evening off to a great start. She was always there, but never intrusive throughout the evening. The team was very fluid and knew where to be at the right time. The guests decided on doing a few rounds of light fare for the 10 of us. The courses were sent out perfectly, and were again, great choices. From salad to dessert, everything was exceptional.

I would definitely recommend finding any excuse to visit this amazing restaurant. Perfect for all occasions, from date night - to a formal business dinner. Or just grab a seat at the bar and enjoy good food and drinks while chatting with locals and the knowledgeable bar staff.

Thank you all again for a wonderful evening!

We were traveling and found this amazing restaurant! Owners, Jerry and Nancy were exceptionally hospitable. Their amazing restaurant has a live wall and an atmosphere that is unsurpassed. All of the meals we had in our small group were exceptional! None of the foods were so rich we felt sick after eating lol. perfect portions and amazingly blended flavors. It’s worth the drive. It’s worth the flight. It’s worth it!

Cute place with a large patio. It was nice to seat there but the amount of flyers trying to drink or eat your food it's too much. Next time I will seat inside. The food was good I got salt with fries (ops, fries with salty) and steak.

Another great dining experience at Gunther. sitting at the Chef counter in the main dining room and watching all of the action in the kitchen. Chef Jerry and team always deliver!!!

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I chose it because it was in a convenient location and had outdoor seating on a day where the weather was supposed to be beautiful. Wow! Not only is the outside patio gorgeous but the inside is, as well. The weight staff was attentive, but not hovering and the food was absolutely delicious. An instant new favorite!

Went here for a business dinner and I must say it is a gem in Baltimore in its non existent food scene. This place is really a great set up with ambiance and character. The staff is super professional and explains everything proper. They are attentive and also great to talk with. The food comes out nicely plated and with great flavor packed in. I will definitely come back.
