I ordered a chicken protein bowl because I was really hungry, but the portion they served was extremely small. When I politely asked if they could add a bit more, the staff responded with an arrogant attitude. I also requested some red sauce, but one of the employees—an Indian girl—rudely told me that I had already added three toppings and couldn’t have more.
We're paying $12 for a meal that's not even enough for one person. On top of that, the taste was disappointing and did not meet expectations. The behavior of the staff, especially the mentioned girl, was unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. It’s frustrating to receive poor service and subpar food at this price point.

Hope you don't abstain from meat for religious or ethical reasons, because your order will be listed as chicken anyway
The food tastes horrible, the amount of toppings is so small. The store puts small scopes for all toppings, but gives more lettuce.

Unlike Salsarita's, Halal Shack's best is not locked behind a Flex dollar paywall. I get brown rice, black beans, falafel, lettuce, and a slew of other small toppings like chickpeas and I-don't-even-know-what all for one meal swipe. Sadly the sauces are not labeled, but I recommend the orange one (I think it's chipotle ranch?). Try to go during off hours because lines get really long.
