Love this place. We went every year for four years to celebrate our anniversary while living in the city. Everything and everyone were on point. The food was incredible. FYI the space when you first walk in has old-school pinups not suitable for kids so just hurry them in if you bring them.

Yesterday was the first time we came to that fine restaurant. But It is surely not the last time. We passed a splendid evening with the excellent service, with the magnificent food and booze and with the honest cost. We will absolutely go back there in a short time.

Loved this little neighborhood spot! It's definitely small, but I'd call it cozy. Great service and food. We'll definitely be back soon!

If you don't know where Henninger's is located, it's difficult to find. I know where it is and passed it by. When you find it, you'll realize the search was worth it. The place is definitely a neighborhood bar and the ambience is definitely old school. Tin ceilings with ceiling fan, lots of wood, lots of photos from a bygone era and soft jazz in the bar. The wine list has a good number of choices. The menu is not extensive but varied. We started with steamed mussels and lentil soup. The mussels were cooked perfectly and the white and garlic was delicious. The lentil soup was flavorful enough to make one become a vegan. We had the pork chop and the nights special was shrimp creole. The pork chop was tender with lots of flavor. The shrimp creole was a feast for the eyes and the tongue. Four drinks, two apps and two entrees came to $100 and the meal was worth it.

I live half a block away, and Henningers is my home—except Jayne and Kenny are better hosts than family. We seriously never get off the block. ❤️❤️

Satisfyingly cozy & comfortable atmosphere. Has a noted absence of douchiness which can be hard to find in Fells Point these days. Excellent delicious food. Great drinks. Great music.

Fell in love with this place the second we walked in. Cozy, funky, and a little gritty in all the best ways. Can't wait to go back and try the food. If it is half as good as the Manhattans we had, we'll be happy! Also, basically an art gallery for the true critic...

Great atmosphere and pretty good food. I also enjoyed the wall art.

Whoever wrote that one star review just shouldn't go to restaurants. Definitely not a small neighborhood spot like this. This place has great food and an even better atmosphere. If it ever sells/changes Baltimore will be losing a really special place.

I almost don't want to give a review on Henniger's. It's an historical tavern. Very small. I love to sneak in here and enjoy a nice cocktail or some fantastic dinner. It's my secret hideaway restaurant with great food and drinks and a very pleasant staff. Shhhh don't tell anyone.

Our host was really great. Super friendly and interesting. Food was great, got the crab cake duet which was very good. Definitely recommend the crab cakes if you enjoy smaller, all lump cakes with no filler. Atmosphere is great, reminds me of many East Baltimore mainstays, with wainscoting, red paint, and walls full of photos and paintings.

Great community restaurant that is off the beaten path. There is also a bar if you want something more casual.
