I used to love this place but as they got more popular the food portions started getting smaller and smaller. The last time I went I couldn’t believe how they skimped on the portions!!!! Unfortunately due to this I no longer go there.
HeyDaddy's is one of our go-to places for getting take out and I'm glad we live close enough to walk to pick up. Jerk chicken varies in spiciness depending on the day. I really like the pepper steak, honey old bay salmon bites, and plantains. It's a good amount of food for the cost. Sometimes orders get mixed up and wait times vary - sometimes they don't have certain food. It's all a little unpredictable but honestly that's part of what makes it feel...
2nd time trying them and the jerk chicken never fails. First time I got the jerk Alfredo that is a bit on the spicy side. Second time I got a small jerk which I would put in the top 3 in the city. The rice and peas are not dry and the cabbage not over cooked or greasy. S/N I would suggest going during day time hours not the best side of town.
