the owner was so disrespectful hung up on me over 8 times and told us to just come to the store to order the food , was yelling at me very angry ! And kept saying hold on as I speak on what I want to order sooo disrespectful I will be contacting cooperation for this . It’s not ok you guys need new workers because these one will have your business fallen down i don’t know if he the owner but as he claims on the phone this his store .
They literally NEVER answer the phone when you call or they will answer the phone and hang straight up on you. The food is good but, if you don’t want people service don’t have a business. Customer service is EVERYTHING!!!

You can never place an order by phone. They never answer their phone. And if they answer, they lay the phone down and never pick up to place your order. You can hear them in the background. I stop dealing with them. I take my money elsewhere.

The grease was filthy. My food was overcooked and nasty. I wasted my time and money. I gave it away.
I ordered the three piece trout meal online via Hip Hops website; it is supposed to come with cole slaw, bread, fries (thats what the website states).Under the special instructions, I asked that my fish be "fried hard,with extra seasoning and to substitute the fries with a cole slaw", and that I be given ketchup and hot sauce. I also orderd a 22 oz drink. I recieved a small drink, no slaw, hard fries and unseasoned fish; and no ketchup or hot sauce only tarta sauce (who asked for tartar sauce?) I would assume that whoever takes the order either cant read at all or struggles with reading English. Nonetheless, I called because I paid for a large drink but was given a small. I was placed on a long hold before someone came to the phone. The man then proceeded to tell me that it was the drivers fault, he must have mixed up the drinks; I was fine with that explanation but the driver works for Hip Hop. I didn't order thru door dash, uber eats, etc, I ordered directly via their website, so the driver works for them. As such, they are under obligation to make it right. Instead of listening, the man begin to loud talk me as he continued to tell me it was a delivery driver issue. The call ended with me letting them know that I will be there after work with my receipt and cup showing what I paid for versus what i got, expecting a free drink or refund...their choice. This was the Hip Hop on Eutaw Street, across from the State office building.

This location is a disappointment. Are going here to pick up an order. Not acknowledged for quite some time until one of the back order individuals come because the gentleman is right at the front is on the phone with his head down like all he has to do is take phone orders. Order the same thing that I ordered from the location off route 40. Received a different amount of food as well as the quality of the food was different. So between the service and this food I wish I could get a refund

I really should went to the Asian folks across the street. Trust your instincts! Anyway I went, ordered fish, got home and found chicken wings. Went back at the guy yells at me saying it was my fault that I was took the bag that he handed to me. He fixes the order of fish which is nice crispy, but inside is dry old fish- SMH. Now I’ve had Hip Hop at another location and I would give it five stars, but this spot- nah, man. Not a ever again.
