The staff was very rude to us. Maybe they were just overwhelmed with the volume of people. The short male bartender was especially aggressive. Def short man syndrome. The food was alright. Drinks were weak. Overall will not be coming back.

Absolutely bizarre situation happened to me and my friends here last night. My friends came from out of town to celebrate my 30th birthday. I wanted to show them the fun stops and had been to Holy Frijoles before so we went in and were met immediately with rude staff who for some reason thought we were younger than 21. We showed them our id’s, but they proceeded to eye roll at us. One of the bartenders told my friend that she didn’t believe my other friend’s id was real. Even though she told us this, she still proceeded to serve us a margarita. So that was weird. My friends and I proceeded to just hangout until another bartender told us that the cops were coming so if we’re not old enough we should leave now. I just turned 30… my friends are in their late 20s and we had already showed them our ids. Minutes later the bartender came with his bouncer and told us that we need to go and that we’re being trespassed. We didn’t cause any scene and proceeded to leave. Don’t want to be anywhere we’re not wanted. However as a Hampden resident this was extremely disappointing. Do better Holy Frijoles.

Came here to have one last beer for a night cap on my buddy’s 30th birthday party. The bartenders didn’t believe we were 21 because we had out of state IDs (we are all close to 30) and then the short bartender (maybe 5”3?”) aggressively kicked us out because we calmly tried explaining that we were in fact 21. This was after they said they called the cops on us because we were underage (they still served us a drink?) Very bizarre, has never happened to me at a bar before.

Good luck gettin a good marg here. They’ll serve you sugar water then kick you out of the bar. Terrible bartender, terrible time. Wish I could give 0 stars.. avoid. Shut it down @jontaffer

0/10. got kicked out of this bar within 5 minutes because the bartender didn’t believe my HUSBAND was 21 years old. meanwhile she still served him a drink then proceeded to kick us out while we were celebrating a friends 30th birthday. extremely disrespected and disgusted. also why would you serve a customer you think is underaged??

Only gone late at night (8pm-11pm) for drinks and usually average service and drinks. Not bad! Margaritas are my go to, quick and easy.

The food and service at this establishment is great, but the staff can be so rude. Because of an error we were not able to tip on our bill but we’re ready to do so. Instead of listening to our case, the bartender said he didn’t want to serve us anymore, said he was “done talking to us” and threatened to call the cops, when we were not even making a scene about this situation. I understand the right to refuse service, but rude behavior was totally unnecessary. We didn’t make a complaint about this but there’s a nicer way to work through things, especially when it’s just a miscommunication.

I’d leave 0 stars if I could. I called to ask a simple question about parking because they’re hosting a concert there and the guy hung up after saying two conflicting statements. I called back and they picked up the phone and sat it on the counter without even saying a word. Terrible customer service.
