Great food at reasonable price. The sausages were cooked perfectly and tasty. The French toast was Amazing but a bit a little too thick. The grits was the best I have ever had. The biscuit was a little too dense for me. The chicken and waffle is to die for but I'm not a fan of waffles. Pretty much the best breakfast food in all of Baltimore as I have tried a lot of places while living in Baltimore area almost all my life. Many places have come and gone. I hope this place stays in business and the quality of food not go down. It's on top of my list for breakfast food.

The food is amazinggg! The stuff is horrible! Just get your food to go! You can’t even get thru on the phone , cause they literally leave the phone off the hook! So just go there and order your food, it’s really worth the wait! But I literally watch the girl at the front answer the phone place someone on hold and proceeded to be on her phone. I was there for about 10 minutes waiting for my food and she never picked up the phone. I couldn’t believe it , but it made sense as to why I could never get through on the phone .

Just "meh" . If I pay that much money for food, I want to be blown away, not "meh'ed". They've got a lot to iron out.

One of my favorite breakfast places in Baltimore. Love that everything is made from scratch. Kudos to Jerome & team.

Great food. Service can be slow. Plan for 1.5-2 hours per visit. The food is worth the wait!!!

This place is adorable and the food is good. Not a huge menu, but everything we got tasted really good. I especially loved the grits. I felt like my grandmother was personally making me a southern breakfast in the kitchen of Home Maid - like love and care is put into every dish. Check it out!

We were in Baltimore (my favorite city) for the weekend with friends, and on our final day(Sunday), we went here for brunch. The food was sooooo delicious! I had the James Brown, which was grits with their house made sauce, and deep fried catfish. Just so good. And we also had the Mt Rushmore, which was 3 huge biscuits with berry compote. Ah! Just spectacular! Washed it down with the watermelon cucumber lemon-aid.

I had the lamb chop lollipops with eggs and rosemary potatoes. It was bangin! The owner, Kevin, waited on me personally, which was nice of him. This reminds me of the EARLY days of Miss Shirley's; great food with a cool, close-knit vibe. Tables turned over in ample time to ensure you'll find close parking. Prices are reasonable, and the apple cider was perfect for a crisp autumn day. The area is a great opportunity to show someone my city without fielding d*** questions about The Wire. #FIVESTARS

Don't miss out on eating here. We stopped in on a Saturday mid-morning and this place was hopping. We were seated immediately and began looking over the menu. My wife, my sister and I got the first three things on the menu: grits with Salmon; with shrimp and andouille; with catfish. I can only assume theirs was as good as mine, because they did not give any impression that they wanted to share. Nor did I.The grits were a solid 10 out of 10. And this without adding bacon or some other overpowering ingredient.Side note: if you order the grits and do t finish them, you deserve to be slapped. I'm just saying...
