Stopped by for a drink and some snacks after a visit to the Fort McHenry National Shrine! We walked in the door and were immediately greeted by the owner and some great locals at the bar. Beers all around and a high top in the window facing Hull St. We had onion rings and the seafood nachos! Outstanding start! The owner for 40 years, Dan came by to check on us and gave us some history of the bar and the characters adorning the bar! I had the Hull St burger and my mates had the cheesesteak and a burger. Everything was as ordered, delicious and the service was on point. If you want a great Baltimore spot for an outstanding, friendly bar and dining experience, this is the place! Thanks Dan!

Great neighborhood bar and restaurant. Trendy, yet consistent. You can choose from popular favorites like the crab cake or shrimp salad. They also have delicious burgers, fresh cut fries and many other choices. Several beers are also offered on tap.

I wanted to love it here. A local bar with great reviews and a great menu. We walked into a mostly empty bar. The floors were gross and there was dust everywhere. The first bartender barely acknowledged us. The second one was polite but immediately announced that this was a locals bar, which made me feel like she was telling me we weren’t welcome. Then it happened. A male bartender came over, in filthy clothes, reeking of weed and cigarette smoke. He spent 20 minutes interfering with our lunch. At one point he asked me if he could have some of the blue cheese off my plate. He was angry and aggressive and at one point even got into an argument with bartender number 2. He stood right by us telling us all of his personal business and asking if we were religious people.
After we ate we still had wine left and so we asked if we could go outside to finish it. A friend met us and we told her about our experience. She clearly didn’t believe us. Until the guy came outside and started to do all the same things.
It’s a shame because the food was good and it had great potential. I enjoy sitting at the bar and interacting with people but this was a horrible bar experience. We will not be back.

Bartender Larissa served me beautifully- a gumbo to die for, generous Pino Noir pours, and a chocolate peanut butter pie that Owner Dan informs was crafted by his wife.Watched an O’s walk-off home run upon exiting which crescendo’d an amazing Locust Point afternoon (lousy weather notwithstanding).The locals made me feel right to home.What more can you ask for?!
