When we arrived we had a short wait not a problem 10-15min. The young lady said our table was ready and when we got to the table it was dirty.

Delicious food and AMAZING service! We got the chicken n waffles and shrimp n grits & had Crystal as our server, she really goes above and beyond for her customers. Her personality was so awesome!! It was so nice having her as a server. Can’t wait to go back already.

placed an order for pickup and the estimated wait time was 30 minutes, they text me 10 mins later saying its ready so i go inside. front host lady says its not ready so i wait 10 more mins. i go up and ask again and she ignores me, her colleague responds and asks me for my order name, then turns around and grabs a bag of food thats been sitting there since i first walked in. chicken flavor was ok but terribly dry, potatoes not even salted. horrible service

I am disappointed with the wait times. Came with about 14 people and was told about 30 minutes wait time which turned into an hour. Would have left but we were already 40 minutes. I can see that the host are not equipped to handle this situation. I have read that others have had the same issue. The training needs to improve.

Fried chicken and gravy was delicious. Sweet tea was incredible. Mint in sweet tea is amazing. Great bargain!!

They're only open for EARLY BIRDS. Maybe I would like to get a cheeseburger or parmesan chicken sandwich for DINNER. DINNER is NOT before 3PM!!!

My family and I went there on a Sunday afternoon and the front host it wasn’t pleasant at all, we wait like 45 min just for her to say oh you give me the wrong number so now you have to wait, and complain with another coworker about it’s getting time to close and still people waiting for tables.
That comment in was not pleasant to hear.
I been there many times and never had this unpleasant experience .

My husband, my 3-year-old son, and I had brunch here after a long weekend visiting Baltimore from Philadelphia. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I enjoyed the extra-large booths with a young kiddo in tow.
But the most important part of our experience came after we left the restaurant. I realized upon arriving in Philadelphia that we left my son's jacket behind. His jacket was no longer available online and I debated buying a new one since he will probably be a different size next winter. Dropping another $100 or so didn't seem worth it with only a month or so of super cold weather left.
I contacted Iron Rooster via its website regarding the jacket, half expecting to never receive a response. Not only did the General Manager, Kerri, respond to me quickly, she also offered to mail back the jacket FREE OF CHARGE. I got it the next day. Little things like this make all the difference, especially when it sometimes feels like the world doesn't support parents or families. Super thankful to have the jacket back and we got to use it to enjoy one more snowstorm yesterday!!!! Thank you for the gracious hospitality, we hope to be back soon.

As a long time traveller to Baltimore, I have been hearing about The Iron Rooster for years and had it on my radar for a while.
I was finally presented with an opportunity to go this past Sunday, and it didn't disappoint.
All of the food was excellent, but the standout to me were the breakfast egg rolls off the appetizer menu. It was like a hot pocket on steroids.
The service was what you want out of a restaurant - very friendly, but not badgering. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant.
The restaurant was jam packed on a Saturday morning. Usually when places are consistently busy, you know they're good.
I'll keep the Rooster in my regular rotation of Baltimore breakfast spots.

Amazing food. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The Poptarts are great.
