I really wanted to like this place but it just didn't work out. The j*** chicken wasn't bad but it wasn't good either; fairly dry and not much flavor. Rice and peas were also bland. Mashed potatoes were horrible and artificial. Plantains were dry and bland as well. Cocoa bread was decent, nice and fluffy. Delivery through uber eats was incredibly quick, i assume because the food was already prepared and just reheated prior to being sent out. I will not be returning.

Exquisite food!!! Authentic taste, the Oxtails were so tender and seasoning was perfect I ordered the Large and its enough for 2 people. The BEST I have had in a LONG time just as good as the Caribbean food in Jamaica, Much love and respect!!! BIG UPS to Island Vybz!!!!!
Horrible - None of the food was fresh. The plantains were like rubber, the rice was hard and stale, the barbecue sauce was overwhelmed with cayenne, and there were bone shards from the chicken everywhere in the food. The food seemed 'recycled', and was basically inedible. Even prior to receiving our order, we called to follow-up on our delivery, as it was already 30 min late. The person who answered seemed high, to be honest. They claimed the order was delayed because they didn't have the orange juice we ordered, and apparently we "didn't answer all their calls" (we never recieved any, of course). So they "weren't going to wait around all night" until we answered our phone, so they just gave us cream soda... this is probably the worst food and service of any restaurant we've visited or ordered from.

I wish I could review on how the food tastes because I ordered the Garlic Buttered Salmon. Unfortunately the online order never came and neither postmates nor this business wanted to take responsibility. We even got a dial tone after they stated that the order wasn't "on their screen." We ended up being refunded (through postmates). Worst customer service ever. They are on my very short "ish list"!

Seasoned vegetables was over cooked and under seasoned. Curry chicken was bland, just seems like they boiled chicken, curry powdered, and onions. No vegetable or potatoes in the curry chicken, no spices and no gravy. Tiny shards of bones in the meat, can't take a single bite without almost cracking my tooth. Easily the worst curry chicken I have had in a while. Great portions though.

The skettel working seemed spooky and extremely lacked in people skills... she turned me off so I left with out ordering food.

I love Jamaican food. I love any island's food for that matter. So when it's within deliverable range, I'm on it! My bf and I ordered the escovitch fish, goat curry, festival dumplings and jumbo j*** wings. Overall, it was a lot of yummy food. The bad part was that most of the sides we ordered were all wrong. I wanted plantains and no rice on one and white rice and cabbage on the other. I also asked for some scotch bonnet peppers/sauce but that never came. We also ordered j*** wings but the barbi-fried flavor came. But we were drinking and anything sounded good at the moment so we feasted regardless. The goat was plentiful and tender as was the fish. What surprised me were the jumbo wings. Although they weren't the flavor we ordered, they were really amazing. Just a little heat and a whole lot of flavor. We didn't call to correct the order because by the time we received the order, it was already closed and thinking about it now, we ended up liking what we got. #easygoing
