I want to first give a disclaimer that I cannot definitively state that what I’m about to say happened or if I may be mistaken of what I think may have occurred today 9/9/2025. But I want to share my experience at Jimmy T’s Restaurant (Fort Smallwood in MD). I have never visited this establishment nor have anyone mentioned this place to me. However, I was in the area and searched for a nearby place to dine for something simple but satisfying. I came across Jimmy T’s and decided to try them out. Upon entering the place, I was a bit leery about entering and dining in because I wondered if I would be welcomed. I have to be honest and blunt but respectful to say that I along with my guest were the only African Americans in the restaurant. Although, I have no issue with any race, yes still in 2025 some other races don’t really care for me and my race. I want to reiterate that I’m unsure if this was the case here, my intuition and the incident led me to express my thoughts. I ordered wings and fries for myself and burger and fries for my guests and our waiter/bartender seemed nice and pleasant but I’m not sure if this was a facade or not. However, when the food finally came my guest bit into the burger and enjoyed it but I felt the need to inspect my food before taking a bite and I picked up a wing and it had something slimy hanging from it. I checked the other buffalo wings and they did not have a slimy or thick consistency as the one I picked up. I didn’t want to assume so I took that same wing, got a napkin and wiped the slimy stuff onto the napkin and asked the person I was with what the substance look like? They replied snot, I myself thought it was spit, so I didn’t eat any of them and I stopped my guest from finishing the food any further. I asked for the check, a To-Go tray, I took the wings only to not cause a scene, paid and exited the establishment. Again, I don’t know what that was in my food and I pray it was not what we believed it may have been but if it was I pray for the soul who would do such a thing. I do not know who to report something like this to, so I decided to share here.

This is a very good neighborhood bar. Come here for the conversation, the atmosphere and just because. I had a wonderful time and would gladly return often.

Has the best food in Pasadena! I have tried multiple items on their menu and they never fail to disappoint. The pricing as well is some of the most reasonable I've ever seen from a restaurant. Food always comes quick and staff is super friendly.

Me and my husband absolutely love this place. They have awesome service and great food. The atmosphere is such that you feel like you are part of the family. Everyone is so hospitable and friendly. I highly recommend Jimmy T's for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They never disappoint.

A bit of a dive bar (a good thing) with a laid back atmosphere. Food is excellent. I recommend the daily specials, fish & chips and the seared tuna. Staff is friendly and a bit salty in a good way.

Best Pub style food in Pasadena. Great prices and all food, beer and spirits. Good fun people as well.
