Service was poor, not friendly, not attentive, only stopped by once to ask if our food was ok, we had to leave our table to ask for the check, and again to get our to-go box.I asked for a coffee refill the one time he stopped to see how things were and I requested more creamer too but our server never brought it. I pointed that out when we were paying our check and he blamed it on being busy- honestly they didn't look busy, but still, that's your JOB.He said next week he'll bring extra cream, I told him we won't be coming back.

Since the ownership changed, this place has really gone down hill. This used to be a favorite breakfast spot for my family for years but now the pancakes are horrible, the home fries have way too much paprika, and the breakfast meats no longer have flavor or are undercooked. I'm very disappointed and they've lost a customer. I won't be returning.

I am a regular at this restaurant and I order the breakfast steak and egg platter or breakfast steak and salad. They sometimes have different types of steak even one that similar to a pork chop but today October 22, 2020 was was the worst. You can't even taste the seasoning on the steak today and it taste like rubber. I had to use A1 sauce and brisk ice tea to even eat it which i never do because the seasoning is enough usually. I only ate it cuz I was paying for it and was HONGRY but in retrospect I should have just gave it back and got something else which I will do next time. The chef even said the steak was different.

Terrible mushy fries. Drinks tasted like they were made with toilet water. Server needs to find a new line of work. Wiped the table into my jeans then took 30 minutes to bring the check only after asking 3x.

I have had multiple poor experiences their regarding with service and decided not to return. I typically wouldn't comment but this week I witnessed an employee being fired in the middle of the street. While I cannot speak to what led to the firing, I found leadership's behavior dehumanizing. If you have to end a relationship with staff, it should handled with dignity. The employee asked for her tips which was customary for the establishment and she was refused. I feel the restaurant has questionable hygienic practices and would go there during a pamdemic. I now see the the aforementioned service concerns and cleanliness issues comes down to poor leadership.

Had chicken fried steak, scrapple and sausage. The chicken fried steak was thin, frozen and tasted like a dried out dehydrated chicken patty. Scrapple tasteless, cold and not crispy. Sausage patty was thin and dried out. Skip it.

Stumbled upon the quaint little breakfast spot. Chesapeake Benedict was delicious! Server (Alessandro) was great, owner came over and had conversation with us about the mural. Very warm and welcoming experience

Wow what happened to this place well apparently we all know the new owners don't have a clue how food is suppose to be cooked. It had no taste. I can't see this place staying open very long.

This restaurant was one of the best in the area. Recently the customer service is bad, the employees look unhappy . I order Eggs Benedictines and was crab . I call for assistance due to allergy reaction and the waiters informed I do not way is crab in you breakfast .

I have tried this place four or five times for breakfast. Each time disappointed. To sum it up, I feel like I am paying full price for the cheapest food. Eggs, potatoes and H&S bakery toast, side of bacon should not cost 14$. Or at least toss some parsley on the plate.
