food was good, salmon portion was very small on my salad, it was as big as a chicken nugget and my small coke was flat. My friend I took visiting from Virginia loved her burger and fries. I noticed her burger and fries portion was small as compared to the past. Hostess was good. $6 for a cookie was ridiculous but yummy. Waiter was fine, could have checked on us more and offered to refill the flat coke or water. It’s just not the way it use to be, not sure why, so it was disappointing. Use to be a favorite. Parking is a hot mess which i’m surprised there isn’t a solution for this all these years later.

Parking: not a lot of spots

food and ambiance great. service was awful. they recognized and brought cookies for free to compensate at the end. it was brunch. cookies weren't necessary. offer a discount or comp the only round of cocktails we ordered bc they were sent to a bar which was not even open and took forever to receive. additionally, the runners and hostess were more attentive than the waitress

Johnny's is a quiet and cozy spot nestled in a historic north Baltimore location.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They were decorating for the Christmas holiday, which added to the warm atmosphere. You can have a seat at one of two bars or grab a table.

The food was delicious! We ordered fried oysters and muscles to start. All cooked to perfection. I ordered an Angus burger medium rare with a fried egg and Johnny's in-house cole slaw on the side. The slaw was fresh and crispy. It was flavorful with just the right amount of sauce. The burger got a bit sloppy towards the end, but most really good burgers do. My wife had the salmon, which she really enjoyed.
The prices were reasonable as well.

All in all, our time and money was well spent, and we'll be back in the future.

The carrot cake is ok, it was burn

Parking: There’s no parking and the only they have is for 2 hours, they also don’t have ranch and regular averages. But the ppl who work there made everything nice and also they have one Bathroom only.

The food was delicious and served in time per course(just about), the space was well maintained and cleaned and all the staff were lovely and helpful. Need to double check the google menu to differentiate, cooked vs raw oysters location.

Vegetarian options: Not vegetarian clear, limited options

We got carry out for three. It was a greasy foray into less than average cuisine. The fries were almost well prepared but they were oily and slightly undercooked. The kicker was the fries had a metal shaving in them that looks like a kitchen repair was done above the food prep surface (see pic). The black bean burger was a mess…in every regard. The Pattie was not cooked enough (many of the beans seemed almost raw and the grease made it disintegrate after one bite). The sauce while palatable, was used to excess. Sorry Johnny.

it's everything you would expect from a Foreman Wolf restaurant. fantastic customer service, and reliably delicious. great for a chill date night or dinner with friends and family. nice accomodations for larger parties, too! outside dining is pet friendly and relaxing during the season.

Comfortable space and menu, but service is consistently underwhelming, and the vegetarian options are always under-seasoned and bland. Location is convenient to north Baltimore, but The Valley Inn is a lot more fun and interesting if you're driving anyway. Would be nice if the Roland Park restaurants stepped up their game a little, or if some new options moved into the area.

Very busy, very crowded, but still well-controlled and fluid. The food was fantastic and the service up to par. Prices are very reasonable -- good place to go with family or friends.

Oh boy, let me tell you about the pre-game magic we experienced at Johnny's! With a high school state championship soccer game at Loyola on our agenda, my friend, her daughter, and I were on the hunt for the perfect spot to fuel up before the excitement. And boy, did we hit the jackpot with Johnny's!

Walking into Johnny's was like finding a hidden gem in a treasure map. The cozy vibes wrapped around us like a warm blanket on a chilly Sunday—it was just what we needed! We settled ourselves at the bar, eager for some drinks and snacks, and that’s where the real fun began.

Our bartender was nothing short of a beverage maestro! I ordered a cortado that was so perfectly crafted I nearly swooned. Seriously, it should have been on the cover of a coffee magazine! And let me tell you about their wine list—it’s like a unique art piece. I picked a Pinot Noir to accompany my house-made Old Bay chips, and it was such a delightful pairing that I felt like a sophisticated sommelier for a moment.

Now, my bourbon-loving friend was over the moon to discover that Johnny's stocked his all-time favorite brand, FEW. After indulging in wine and coffee that could make any day brighter, we just had to cap off our relaxed Sunday with a round of bourbon. Because what’s a pre-game without a little celebratory sip, right?

My friend and her daughter were enjoying their vanilla latte and mocha to the fullest—let’s just say the smiles on their faces were positively radiant! And the cookies? Oh my goodness! The gingerbread and peanut butter cookies were instant crowd-pleasers. I’m pretty sure I’d fight a bear for another bite!

Now, here’s the kicker: my friend might live in sunny Florida, but I’m ready to brave the Washington Beltway traffic any time just to return to Johnny's. If they nail snacks and drinks this well before a soccer game, I can't even imagine what kind of culinary genius they have up their sleeves!

So, Johnny's, you’ve stolen my heart (and my taste buds)—I’m already counting down the days until my next visit!

I love this place! I’m here too often. I practically live at Johnny’s! Their daily specials are excellent.

Went to dinner this past weekend here and was so impressed with this place. The food and atmosphere were both truly fantastic. And even better was the service. Our waiter, the manager (I assume), and other misc employees were so very attentive and invested in us enjoying our meal and wine. I couldnt have been more pleased. In a world where everything is costing more and what you get in return is lackluster, this place shines. A testament to people that care and a place well run. Highly highly recommend!
