Every seat is good, symphony was awesome. Only down side is the tier 2 seats were WARM. Head to fan ourselves, take off sweaters, etc.
Lovely productions.
The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall delivers an exceptional experience every time. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm, safe, and thoughtfully maintained. Seating is strategically designed—there truly isn’t a bad view in the house, and the acoustics elevate every performance. Events are curated with care, offering everything from symphonic classics to creative seasonal showcases. One standout this holiday season was a three-show package for $75, offering unbeatable value. While light refreshments may be available depending on the event, it’s wise to eat beforehand, especially for evening performances or outings with children.
This venue consistently prioritizes accessibility, quality, and community engagement. It’s a smart choice for families, music enthusiasts, and anyone looking to introduce younger audiences to live orchestral music in a meaningful way. I’ve previously held a membership and am considering renewing it due to the caliber and variety of programming. From toddler-friendly concerts to opportunities for deeper musical appreciation, the Meyerhoff remains a cultural anchor in Baltimore. If you're seeking enriching, reliable, and unforgettable live experiences, this is the place to invest your time.
Over the years I've attended performances by arts like Bernadette Peters, David Byrne, and Michael Hedges. Great venue. Comfortable seats, and excellent sound. If you purchase beverages you cannot bring them in the auditorium for many shows. The staff is friendly. Two-thumbs-up.
