Mannnnn oh mannnn I’ve been going to mikes for over a decade he has the best Chinese food in the city! Best place to get you Spicky yak aka penitentiary yak! Sooo bomb 💣 his shrimp fried rice, shrimp and broccoli and wings are fireeee. I’ve never had anything from here that disappointed me! This place has been in our neighborhood since I was a child. My father would bring home pepper steak and my mom liked egg foo Yung. I hadn't stopped here in years, but saw nice reviews. The shrimp fried was like we used to eat years ago. Place gave me a retro feel. I have to try the pepper steak next.
Penitentiary Yak, fried rice and their chicken wings is my favorite, oh and their dollar Yak W/boiled egg. I drive almost an hour to get there. This is the only Chinese Spot in Baltimore that has never changed since I was a little girl (over 40 years ago) so if you’re looking for that back in the day Chinese Food! “Well Mikes is the place to go”. Anything on the menu you will not be disappointed because everything is good!
