Came here 15 minutes before closing and was pleasantly surprised they still welcomed us in — really appreciated that! Orders are placed at the counter, and the space is super clean and spacious. We were greeted by Sidiq, who was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes.
We had the mantu as a starter, and it was delicious! The dumpling skin is a bit on the thicker side, but the generous filling balanced it out nicely. The mix of sauces and gravy was packed with flavor.
For mains, I had the chicken Kabuli pallow and my husband had the lamb shank. The Kabuli was well-spiced and tasty — I personally would’ve liked a touch more salt, but the chicken itself was nicely seasoned and not dry at all. The lamb shank was super tender and came with fragrant rice and a rich, balanced gravy.
Overall, great food and warm hospitality. Would definitely come back to try more

Wholesome, healthy, & tasty food- everything was hot, timely served, and well portioned. BYOB was easy, we brought a few beers in a small soft cooler, some tables had brought wine, glasses were provided, as well as a small cambro with ice to keep the beer cold. We had a mix of vegan & non-vegan diners, if opting for a veg dish consider asking for a side of yellow split peas for protein if a main lacks any. Simple and clean dining environment, appreciated the absence of loud music. Service was pleasant and unintrusive. Plenty of diners coming and going for Sunday evening service.

Tonight was my second time dining ant Kandahar and I loved it even more than the first! The food is incredible and everyone who works there is so nice. Between the two trips we have had Kadoo, Banjan Laghatak, Chopan, Chopandaz, and Baklava and every dish was amazing. Looking forward to coming back soon!
