Callaloo and salt fish was a very small portion for 17.00 dollars, no fried dumplings and hardly no salt fish. The plantains are 7.00 for a side order and you get 8 pieces the size of chicken nuggets. This place is overrated.

Excellent food! I’m real picky when it comes to Jamaican food so it means a lot when I say the food is delicious—well seasoned, good portion. In this picture, this is 1/2 my take out plate. I got the oxtail with rice n peas and ordered a side of plantain. Hubby got brown stew chicken and we ordered the ginger pineapple drink and sorrel. I was pleasantly surprised that the ginger pineapple drink is fresh. You can taste the real ginger and pineapple and you can taste the ginger and sorrel in the sorrel as well. Whenever we’re in the area, this is our spot.Vegetarian options: If you’re a vegetarian then the escovitch dish is a good option for you

Had very good curry chicken here. The cashier was really friendly and the whole place had a warm, reassuring vibe. It was fun to try new food from what felt like a real hidden gem. I wish they had jerk or curry tofu, though.

After giving the such good ratings! Tonight was mediocre ! ordered the oxtail with rice and peas cabbage and plantains.. Plantains always great!! Oxtail needed more seasoning, Not enough gravy in the hard grain rice!! Come on!!! Not already!! This bothers me cause I mentioned this place to friends who live in the area who told me they go to St. Mary's and never knew there was another choice!! I use to go to St. Mary's as well but after having the food here and smelling the food cooking was quite disappointed that today was different than just last week!! Nothing in the case juices etc... 4 pieces of cheese some juices.. now they may have sold out but you close late why not have someone refill to make it look good ?? Again I will definitely give them another chance but we need consistency!! Restaurant is too beautiful to be wasted !!

Very deserving of a 5 star review for both the food and the service. We had our meats catered by KM Island Cuisine for Thanksgiving 2023. We ordered curry goat, brown stewed chicken, jerk chicken, fried snapper, and beef and chicken patties. Everything was delicious! The brown stew was tender and flavorful. The jerk was seasoned to perfection. The curry goat was slap somebody delicious! The fish was fresh and crispy. Even the patties were slammin! My entire family enjoyed our holiday meal. It is evident the food was made with soul and love. The owner KM provided us with outstanding service from the ordering to the pick-up. Her team even brought our items out to our vehicle. KM demonstrates pride in making her customers feel well taken of and that is much appreciated. I will most certainly return and highly recommend! Kudos to you and your team, KM! ???
