This was my second time visiting this restaurant. My family enjoyed this place, so this time we did it with my parents and niece. The food was great, but the heavy set korean woman working there was trash. I asked her for the Kong, and kid you not she just stared at me..I had to say Kongbination! She didn't even ask us for any drinks, but the redemption was the tall skinny guy, and the other korean girl with the glasses. They definitely are a gem to this place!!!

Stopped by this past Wednesday night and my goodness have things changed! So good that the place stayed packed ALL night!! They even utilized the front and back private room for more seating.I was there with a group of 6 for about 6-7 hours catching up with some friends. For starters, the food tasted sooooo good! Best that I've ever tasted and I've been going here for a while !! The fish cake soup was so flavorful and had a nice kick of spice with the addition of the jalapeno peppers. The chicken was crunchy and stayed crunchy and the sauce was a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The tteokbokki was also well balanced and it was a generous portion!Since we were there for so long and kept ordering drinks they gave us some free items like the corn cheese which was so creamy. The fries were very crunchy, not soggy at all and the sweet chili sauce was a nice compliment. The servers kept checking in on us and did their best while they were also managing 8-10 other tables!I am so glad to see the changes and I hope it stays this way!

I find Kong to be so incredibly delightful, pleasant, and tasty that I felt compelled to review. The fried chicken and cheese corn are 10/10 delicious and the vibe makes you feel like you’re instantly transported to a quant underground bar just outside of Seoul. Please go to this place and see for yourself. Also, the little shot cups and trinkets they have of the like with cats on them are as adorable as your grandma looking at old family photos just reminiscin’

great and comforting food! Such a cool hidden place in baltimroe I love it! Though, the place has a weird smell when you walk in (not related to the food). Love the visual atmosphere they have, and boy do they love blasting music in there haha. Love their kimchi pancake and fried chicken!

The fried chicken here is amazing and highly recommend it. They come is large portions and one is definitely enough for 2 people. The salad that comes with it is kinda mid, but the chicken makes up for it. The fried dumplings are okay, but not amazing. The service was great and it gets busy later in the night.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at King Pocha Korean restaurant in Baltimore MD, and overall, it was a memorable experience. My friend and I ventured in for the first time and sampled a variety of dishes, each leaving its own impression. The meal began with the banchan, the Korean side dishes, which I found to be somewhat mediocre. However, the experience was quickly redeemed by the curry omu rice with fried chicken, which was an absolute delight and turned out to be our favorite dish of the evening.Following that, we indulged in the Kongbination, which was our second favorite. Unfortunately, the seafood pancake didn't quite meet our expectations. It lacked thickness and fell short on the seafood front, especially when compared to a similar dish at another Korean restaurant we frequent. The army casserole, or Buddae Jjigae, was not as impressive as I had hoped. My fondness for this dish was overshadowed by an excess of boiled sausage. I prefer the Chinese sausage to be thinly sliced and pan-fried, a quality I enjoy at another Korean restaurant that, in my opinion, prepares it more to my liking. On a brighter note, the takeout order of fried chicken bone-in with the sauce on the side, which I got for my husband, turned out to be a hit. He thoroughly enjoyed it, and I must say, the chicken was delightfully crispy.Unfortunately, the so-called barley tea didn't fare as well. At $3 a cup with no refills, it fell short of our expectations and left us feeling a bit let down.Despite the mixed review of the dishes, I was impressed enough to want to return, particularly for the curry omu rice, and to give other menu items a try. It's clear that King Pocha Korean restaurant has its strengths, and I look forward to further exploring the menu and having the opportunity to enjoy the standout dishes on offer. In summary, while there were some ups and downs during our visit to King Pocha, the standout dishes left a positive impression, and I anticipate returning to delve deeper into the menu and hopefully discover more delightful flavors.

Curry omurice absolutely slaps. It's also down to earth and very cute inside. Good stuff
