I stopped by on a Sunday night. The bar seemed packed and there was a single bartender, a tall young man with long hair, running around taking care of everyone. His hard work and service really impressed me and encouraged me to leave a review. I had a bacon cheese burger and it was delicious. This place has a fantastic atmosphere.

My experience with koopers over the years has been great , it has always been a safe place for me and my family to eat with good service being a Born American with Pakistani ethnicity and a Caucasian wife. This past Sunday we received the worst treatment from our bartender Chris. He was extremely rude and just angry , when my wife told Chris we are to order he said give me a couple f…. Minutes. We were appalled after serving our drinks and water he didn’t ask one time for water refills on a super hot summer day . While the inside of koopers was scorching , Chris would not even acknowledge me when I asked for a refill twice instead I had a to ask another gent who kindly gave us water. After we were just wanted to get out of there my wife ask for boxes which took Chris almost 15 mins ! Then when I asked him for the check he rolled his eyes at me and handed the check to my wife . As someone who grew up in West Baltimore and a wife from South Baltimore it took everything in us to stay calm in that moment and just not say anything as I would not want to ruin anyone else dining experience. Even the couple sitting next to us was asking us why the bartender was treating me like this and encouraged us to enjoy our time as couple and not let him bring us down. We hope management can see this review and chat with Chris about this.

I like this place, because it's an easy atmosphere and accomodates a variety of diets. The drinks are really good. Our server Chris, was on it. We were a party of 10 with no reservations

Food was pretty good however the service was the opposite. Waited 20 minutes for our drinks and had to take them inside ourselves to get refills as our waiter neglected to check on us. She seemed forgetful and lacked a sense of urgency. The atmosphere was gorgeous.

Amazing!! My first visit to Baltimore & Kooper's Tavern was such a exciting experience. The food was absolutely delicious and customer service was 5 stars for me. Overall, great place, food was delicious and staff were very friendly and professional. Definitely worth MANY visits!!

Food was good, service was ok, but several of the staff were rude, dismissive and the antithesis of accommodating to their customers. I’ll never go back and I would never recommend this place to anyone. I have never given anyplace a bad review. Not once. But the behavior of the staff at this establishment towards its customers was well beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Hopefully this is the first and last time i feel the need to post a review like this.
