A well-kept local dive bar that's surprisingly lively AND clean. Service staff was attentive and the gumbo was a good duplicate of New Orleans' style. Will be back to try more items.
Wow!!!!! Cannot say enough great things about this place. Stopped in for an hour or so before my train and had an incredible time. Drew and the bar staff are the nicest people around. I would have gladly missed my train and stayed longer if I could. Ask for the “Bohtini” — IYKYK.

The board from Homicide (filmed across the street) was a great touch as well. I will be back!!!
Delicious! We stopped here unexpectedly (the restaurant we were headed too could not rally to open on time) and we were quite happy. The gumbo was fabulous. The only problem was that it was so good that I could not keep my spouse away from it. My wife loved her salad and the Creole Omelet (brunch time) was great. The weather was nice so sitting outside was a bonus and our server was on top of everything. Our former favorite place down the street lost out!
