I visited the Krauses Lite Fare at the newly renovated Lexington Market and I was unimpressed honestly. I liked when I could see them carve the turkey and make my sandwich. The service was wonderful as always. I ordered the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich and it seems like it has changed, especially the stuffing on the sandwich. It lacked seasonings, celery and onion, like in previous sandwiches I have had there. And the cranberry sauce also lost the good flavor. I will return, but I will just buy the regular turkey sandwich.

The best turkey sandwich I've ever had in my life! The workers are very amiable and sweet. The kaiser roll was so soft and the most impeccable combination with all the burst of flavors.

Last Sunday while watching WJZ-TV Sunday News at 8am, they featured a segment on this place , I knew I had to visit. They have a stall in Lexington Market. I ordered the Thanksgiving sandwich. It's a monster of a sandwich. Turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing piled high with a small cup of gravy. So good so tasty.

I've always wanted to try Krause lite fare since before the new Lexington market. so I happen to be in the neighborhood and decided to stop by to try it out. I got the turkey dinner. The turkey dinner consist of sliced turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans. You get a nice portion for $16.91. The meal can use a little more flavor or just a bit more salt and pepper. Maybe I'll try the sandwich next time.

The thanksgiving turkey sandwich was to die for. I am an avid lover of thanksgiving turkey sandwiches and this one did not disappoint at all. It was probably one of the best I've ever had. I will definitely eat here again. The staff were friendly and kind! It's a busy food court but it's fun getting to see all the different businesses. Park in the garage across the street.

My wife was intrigued by the fresh oven cooked turkey that was being carved in front of the customers with each order. She was even more intrigued by the Thanksgiving sandwich on the menu. So she went with the Thanksgiving sandwich with her choice of bread for her lunch. The sandwich contained layers of carved white meat turkey, a thick layer of stuffing, and cranberry sauce. I took a bite and it was absolutely delicious, tasted just like Thanksgiving dinner between two slices of bread. I think it costed $11.95, with it. Definitely we will return.

Krause's was a quick spot to grab a fresh sandwich while in Lexington Market. I ordered a Fresh Carved Turkey on pumpernickel with pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, spicy mustard and pepper. Price came to $9.95. The sandwich was stacked high with freshly carved turkey. Heck of a portion! Overall it wasn't the best sandwich I've had, but far from the worst. Just a solid fresh sandwich served by a friendly staff. Definitely one of the healthier choices in the market, but the other places are hard to pass up too! Thanks guys!

Please update your service hours. I came in at 830 and was told you aren't open. When the website advises otherwise. Truly disappointed ?

Incredible quality and friendly staff. The turkey is cut fresh of the bone, to order. This IS the best Turkey sandwich you’ve ever had. So happy they are in the new market!

Stop what you're doing and run, don't walk, to Krause's Lite Fare. This restaurant specializes in Thanksgiving style turkey meals and assorted sandwiches. If you like thanksgiving cuisine, you can get it all year round here. Admittedly, I was enticed by the Turkey but opted for an ol' reliable: chicken salad sandwich. I spiced it up with Salt, Pepper, Old Bay, avocado and bacon. It was and is one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I have ever had. The quality of the chicken is immediately apparent and the flavor is really delicious. To top it off, prices are well in my range. A basic sandwich will likely not exceed $10 and for a meal you can get with less than $20. Beware: the portions are huge and glorious! I have already come back and reordered this sandwich twice, and there will be more visits to come...

There's nothing better than a hearty sandwich piled high with fresh turkey carved to order. And when I say piled, I mean PILED! I have a huge appetite and I eat mostly a healthy diet since I'm in the health/fitness industry, and these sandwiches more than fill me up, and the fresh ingredients fit my macros and fuel me right!
