Ever have a server try to talk you OUT OF what you order? Or go to the kitchen to get SOMEONE ELSE to help them talk you out of it? No? Me, either. Nor have I ever had the meals for our party (2 people) come out 10 minutes apart -- and we were literally the only people there. And the server didn't ask to take our drink orders, though they had beer. They only accept cash tips, so don't try to add it to the receipt like you would in the rest of the western world. The decor is awful and there was wiring hanging out of the wall.I will say the food was decent, though my order was incorrect and the portion was pretty small for the price I paid. I certainly will not be returning there. The pix of their catering/carryout look good but DO NOT represent what our orders looked like. And make sure you go to the right location, as they're listed at 2, but only exist at 1.

Ordered the Egusi and Fufu Combo from Doordash. The portion was about 2.5 Oz of Egusi, 1 chicken wing and 1 small piece of a chicken breast for $20 dollars! It looked like a side dish in appearance. The spice level was about a 1.5 out of 5. Based off of the positive reviews, this was not at all what I was expecting. I have posted a few pictures as well.

DoorDash order. The asaro was not asaroing. More like old yam n stew mixed together to say they had asaro. I literally picked it up like a chicken nugget. The meat was fried good but flavorless. The ayamase looked disgusting, smelled spoilt and only had fatty parts. I didn’t even bother with that. The rice was mid and the only thing that was great was the $4 piece of chicken. Pls update menu to say “one choice of” and not “one of each”. Kind of wild to pay $4 for a piece of chicken when a pack of obasanjo is like 6 bucks… but I get it convenience. I wish I could have tried the moin moin and meat pie because maybe that would have been redeeming because these reviews gave me high hopes. Overall trash, inedible and a waste of $55.33, but a lesson in laziness…Who sent me to go order food I can make myself? Really disappointed though.. This can’t be Nigerians making this food.

The new address is 5702 Harford Rd, Baltimore, MD 21214 after relocation and new management. It's a wonderful new African eatery and Bar to relax. There's also a banquet hall for 70 or more guests.

I ordered some food items on Friday through Seamless. t took over 2 hours to get thefood & it was missing one moinmoin & a side of jollof rice. It’s been one story or the other since then. One lady said to come pick up the jollof rice when I called back the following day. If I wanted to pick-up, I would not have ordered delivery. The two stars is because of the man I spoke with that Friday night & on Saturday. I The person I spoke with this evening was very brash & unnecessarily loud. You said you are the owner, Nike, but you talk to your customers like that? No apologies that you guys messed up my order. It’s not only about the refund, its a matter of principle. Your customer service needs work.*******Your epistle is ludicrous. If you spent a quarter of the energy it took you to write the epistle on your business, it should run more effectively. I would change to zero stars if I could. The moinmoin was squared out the first time I called, I got that. The incident happened on Friday. My call on Wednesday was the 4th time I called. From being told the rice would be delivered to me, to asking me to come pick it up (the audacity!) & when I declined to telling me Seamless cannot refund my money, it would be zelled to me. I dropped my cellphone number & email address btw. Wednesday, story changed again when the “Adenike” character took over. She said all she had to do was contact seamless & the money refunded. I told her I had called multiple times already & would rather not call back. “Very brash & unnecessarily loud” was putting her actions mildly. If she knew she was in the right, why did she misrepresent herself? Absolutely no justification for her behavior. Now y’all are saying I should contact seamless myself. My review was a reflection of what transpired, it was not written out of spite. Yours reeks of full blown aggression. The miscommunication, as you put it, was from your end. Get your house in order! You guys messed up a simple order & even worse handled everything else afterwards very poorly.I did not drop the call angrily, your “Adenike” was done shouting before I dropped the call & you know it. I never raised my voice during all my conversations with you guys. Being on the defensive so aggressively & spewing lies against me to make yourself look good buttresses my point. Your management & customer service skills stinks. There are better ways to talk to people than you guys did. It’s a pity (as you stated) for you, your restaurant & entire generation. I’m not the first to comment about how badly you talk and treat your customers & judging by the attitude in your response, I will not be the last. Truth is bitter but it needs to be said. Radarada.

I called before placing my order online and confirmed that I would receive amala; after confirmation, I placed an order for two meals. I ordered shortly after 12 and received the food well after 3 pm, but I love the food, so I wasn't tripping until I looked and saw they only sent one meal and they sent fufu. I specifically asked if I would receive amala because that is what I prefer. So after bragging about how amazing the food is and another person ordering with me, we waited 3 hours and had to share one dish. The ewedu was watered down, and the food portions were smaller than usual. It's like they tried to make too many orders without enough food. Also, the meat was so tough I was pulling to get a bite, and the spicy sauce slashed in my eyes. I was ripping the meat like an animal because it was hard to separate ? Don't judge me; I was hungry. Regardless, the flavor is amazing but 3 hours ? not receiving all the food ?and receiving fufu (the white one) and not amala (the black or darker one) after confirmation ?is ridiculous. If they are overwhelmed, they should hire more staff. And we spent over 50 dollars.

If you are in Baltimore and you've not eaten in Kuramo Restaurant, know that you are missing something. This is one of the best African restaurants where you can find quality African dishes. I enjoyed it, and I will come back for more.

Not one to leave reviews for restaurants but this was just too much. Had to record this for posterity. Day 1 - was looking for a West African restaurant to cater food for an event. Called them based on a friend's recommendation with a couple of questions. Question: "How many people does your large tray of rice feed." The response: "I have no idea." My response: Ok.... is their someone I can talk to who does?" The person either gave the phone to someone else or someone took the phone from them and I reintroduced myself and asked the question. They had a better answer. Not a big deal. It was a general question.. I just needed a general answer.Day 2 tho - figured I'd just order some food from their regular menu to get an idea of the quality. I order based on the menu on their website which clearly lists under "Proteins" seven stews with different types of meat. I call in the order: "Can I have one chicken stew please." The response "You can either order the chicken or you can order the stew and add chicken." Me in my confusion "Okay.. can I get the stew with chicken in it. Can I also get an order of fish stew" The response "you can either get the fish or the stew with fish in it." "Okay let me get the fish". I'm thinkin I'm putting in a separate order of fish. Do the same thing with goat meat and order a couple sides of rice. Go to pick up the food and am given one bowl of stew with one piece of chicken, one piece of fish, and one piece of goat." :-D Whaaat?! I'm dying of laughter as I'm writing this. I can't even.Food was good tho... smh.

Came here as a dasher, ridiculously long wait for rice and peas. Y’all really need to get it together. I waited almost thirty minutes past my pickup time. Fair to say o won’t be picking up from here in future.
