The sushi is really just bad. I ordered on a Saturday night hoping it would be more like to be fresh but it definitely was not. Even the wasabi is poor quality and tasteless.

This establishment has chairs inside to dine in, if you choose to do so, but yet there’s a “No Public Restroom” sign. Who does that? Either make it a take out establishment Only & remove the chairs, or Allow the paying customers to use the restroom. I get the fact that people off the street need to use the restrooms from time to time, and your too unprofessional to keep the rest rooms clean, but if people are spending their hard earned money to hand it over to you, then at least allow them to use the restroom while they wait for their food or chose to use the restroom because they also purchased a drink to go along with the food.
Me and my friend really enjoyed coming here. I really liked the eel and avocado roll
Absolute egregiously incompetent staff but otherwise decent food especially if your expectations are already low of this sordid St. Paul block

I had an extremely disappointing and offensive experience at Kyodai Express. While picking up my food, I overheard a staff member refer to me as “pendejo,” followed by another employee turning to look directly at me. It was clear the comment was directed at me.
This behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and felt racially charged. No customer should be subjected to that kind of treatment. I will not be returning and do not recommend others, especially Black customers, support a business that allows this kind of environment.

The food is simple but still good, portions are huge, and prices are relatively low. The sushi isn’t bad either, great for an economical meal when you’re really hungry.

This place was pretty good, pretty big menu and lots of selections for sushi. My friend and I shared two orders of tempura rolls while I got shrimp and beef with fried rice and my friend got noodles. Everything was really good, came out pretty quick and good service. Very large portions for affordable price.
Takes 30min to do a dragon roll, the size of the roll is pathetically small and taste bad. Don’t recommend at all

Only ate the spicy tuna roll. It was delicious and tasted pretty fresh. It wasn't very spicy. They made it to order, so I had to wait a few minutes, but totally worth the wait! I was hungry & It was so good, I didn't take a photo before I dug in!!!

Food was decent and quick for the price. Service was good. Plastic everything even when eating in gets a 1. Too much disposable everything in this world. Will frequent establishments with plates and real utensils to cut down on my waste. Especially don't like having hot soup out of plastic.
