Lovely little spot. Service was an 11/10. We got the meatballs and empanadas to start. Those were all very good. We got the ravioli for an entree. It tasted phenomenal, though I felt the cook on it was a bit under. We also got a side of brussel sprouts, they also tasted amazing, but I personally like them a bit more crispy. All told the food was great even if I could find a few small details to nit pick.

Incredible ambiance and food. Friendly service, overall wonderful experience- sincerely, an Argentinean that doesn't like to go to Argentinian restaurants because they're usually disappointing, this one is 100% an exception to that rule, absolutely amazing!

Food was great - clearly everything was scratch made. “Spicy” chickpeas weren't really spicy at all, though. Chimichurri was good with homemade bread to start. Both pastas we got were delicious and the burratta was indulgent. Chorizo empanada seemed more like ground beef but all three different empanadas were tasty.

A few dishes were slightly salty, but everything was great, and I'd rather it be slightly salty than lacking salt. The polenta dish was the best thing I've had in a while and the panqueques hit the spot. Will be back!

Little kitchen putting out big flavor! But the dining room needs to be bigger. It's just too cramped...maybe bar should get smaller to make room. They don't even have enough room for a coffee pot! Burrata was out of this world, baked/fried cheese no bueno. Risotto amazing, but needed a little more short rib. And let's skip the fries as a side/garnish...feature something else coming out of that little kitchen. And maybe replace the fryer with a freaking coffee pot! We will go back to try more of the Italian side of the menu...but we will go it alone, or maybe on a weeknight. Too good, not to be better!

Local gem - welcoming to out of town visitors and neighborhood regulars alike. Classic Argentinian mainstays, small but excellent wine list, intriguing cocktail menu we didn't get a chance to try. Had provoleta and the parraillada for 2. The parraillada included filet mignon, NY strip, flank steak and short rib, grilled crusty on the outside and a perfect medium rare inside, accompanied by great hand-cut fries and a nice mixed salad to share. Great atmosphere and warm, attentive service.

If you can get past the hostess it’s actually quite a nice restaurant.

We went last night and were fortunate to grab a seat at the bar. It was a packed house for the weekend following Valentines Day. We had the appetizer special, my wife got empanadas and I had the NY Strip. Everything was Delicious, staff was friendly and we had a relaxing time. Not too loud, great vibe. Kudos to the owner.

What a treasure! Fine dining without all the pretentiousness you have to deal with in the big name restaurants. Intimate setting, attentive service, reasonable prices, and fabulous food and drinks. We'll be back there soon.

My husband and I went to La Barrita for Valentines Day, and everything was so wonderful about this restaurant! The food was delicious, our server was awesome, and the vibe was so quaint and cozy. I can't wait to go back!! I ordered the fettuccini with short rib and it was so yummy. Also, my server recommended me a great glass of wine (a Malbec but I can't remember the name) to go with my dinner. Overall I just really loved this place and I highly recommend you check it out!

This was my second time at La Barrita and it does not disappoint. The service is top notch, they make a great martini and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for a fantastic experience.

It was our first time at La Barrita Restobar. I was impressed by the diners' enthusiastic reviews and the menu. We were very impressed and will definitely return. I need to add that we went on Super Bowl Sunday, so it was not full. The noise level will probably be greater on "normal" evenings. Even so, it was a wonderful experience.
