I just left here and I was hungry af! I wanted to be mad at them cus they didn’t have curry goat but when I got what they DID HAVE, I felt my tummy sing a song. They continued to apologize but the oxtails were tender and the rice was cooked perfectly. Idgaf what they have, I definitely will be back. They were kind, courteous and empathetic. I don’t leave reviews but these two men that serviced me today were exceptional. Thank you!

I recently just started eating at Larrels again and I am honestly disappointed with the oxtail dish that i couldn’t even eat it! I only had 5 pieces of oxtail and majority rice and cabbage with no plantains. And the oxtail wasn’t good either! I’ve never had this experience with them until today & on top of that… i paid $27 (including calypso drink) for this dish to not turn out good.

This place is horrible the rice was old the jerk chicken or curry chicken taste a couple days old and taste like it was warmed up in a microwave only thing was fresh was the jerk shrimp dinner never again

PISSED OFF -My first time eating here and this will be my last…for $33.91 the oxtails and curry chicken was cold and hard. The rice was mushy, the gravy had a ? nasty taste. I asked for mac & cheese they didn’t give it to me- told me “ my bad the next time “ . I am beyond discussed, I will be making a complaint with the BBB, the health department and the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) because after eating some of the food, I became instantly sick. The food was beyond horrible this definitely was some old food they sold me. I will stick with Island cuisine !!

OMG! This was the best Jamaican food I have EVER tasted in BALTIMORE! Simply AMAZING! I got the curry chicken, will be back to try the curry goat and oxtails.

1st time Caribbean restaurant experience... It was underwhelming. The coco bread I had was the best bread I've ever had in my life. The cabbage was perfect, the rice was underwhelming and the service was confusing as if the lady wasn't happy to have guests ??‍♂️ The guy was helpful though maybe it was an off day for her. I would recommend cheering up.

I've only ordered here one time. I ordered the oxtails with peas and rice and plantains. Hmm not the best but ok. I'd suggest cooking the oxtail until tender (fall of the bone) Too tough for me. Oxtails should be tender not tough and chewy. Portion of the oxtail meat was very small portion. Not worth the price. I may try them one more time because i love oxtails and hope for a better experience!

The food here is absolutely 5 star. This food is much accurate to actual Jamaican food, which I love. I like the chicken, rice and peas, fried chicken, just all the chicken and side dishes. This place is also so underrated. I see no one ever talking about this place. It deserves more hype and customers. This is just my take on the place, have your opinions, but this food is so good here!

25 for j*** salmon, I'm expecting at least2 pieces! It was overcooked & the rice tasted weird!!

Oxtail was delicious, and so was the pineapple glazed shrimp
