If they can’t provide service, they shouldn’t be open. Valentine’s Day was ruined because of these clowns who couldn’t do basic service at the lowest expectations. They were running around like chickens with their head cut off. I had no water for 30min and no food for one hour and 40min. I was brought someone else’s food multiple time.UPDATE: I can see that the owner rudely responded to me. You guys were incredibly rude, slow and disorganized. Your response is embarrassing. No apology or remorse at all. You guys are clowns. Hope you learn how to run a business . ?

We were the only ones eating since we arrived before they opened, but the owner let us in early. What an overall enjoyable experience!

That was insanely bad. I have no idea how they are in business. I can’t believe they argue with guests about 1 hour waits for food. Service was very slow. Our food was cold. Toilet was broken and dirty. Table was next to trash. Server kept bringing us the wrong food. After three hours of bad service I had to walk back to get my own check. Owner was confrontational about the bad service and told me it wasn’t his problem and that there was gratuity which I refused to pay. He said “it’s Valentine’s Day what do you expect”.which is shocking because I expect decent service at the bare minimum for 80$. Nobody knew what they were doing. Nobody checked reservations. Waiter was clearly overwhelmed and didn’t even know how to print checks. the hostess was a fish out of water, seating without letting the server know and just standing with her mouth open. I am embarrassed for them. Ruined Valentine’s Day. This was bizarre and sad. I won’t be back. I want a refund.I noticed that my review was taken down - if that’s the case, I will contact management to refund me for my time wasted. BEWARE they delete a lot of reviews

THIS place is sooo good. My daughter loves crepes. The gentleman behind the counter was so nice and made a beautifully crafted crepe. Do not miss this Amour d’ La Crepe when you visit Fells Point in Baltimore, Maryland .The atmosphere was delightful as well. Sweetly decorated and so clean! A perfectly delicious treat! Not expensive for what you get.Parking: Sundays free parking

I think it was safe to say my valentines night was not the only one ruined. I was disappointed by the dismal response from management to make things right. I went here years ago and it was lovely but this time around I was met with poor service and rudeness from management. I hope they can make this right.

This was a very very poor experience. The owner yelled at me about automatic gratuity when I brought up the wait for my food and the fact that I had to get my own check. I didn't have water throughout my meal and I had to ask multiple times. The food took hours. This was shocking. He told me "it was valentines day what do you expect". Sir, for 80$, I would like to have the basic needs of service met. Please give me a refund.

What a great little spot. We'd been meaning to give them a try for a while but hadn't found time. We wandered in last night and had a delicious, unhurried meal. The food was delicious and the owner attentive. Will definitely be back!

excellent! for both the service and the food. spinach was cooked perfectly. I got an extra side of the spinach complements of The Chef. Delicious times two! Thank you I will take my check. Would you like that? Yes please I will come again. I watched the plates around the restaurant and they were all empty. That’s amazing and speaks to The Chef skills in the service they provide

I went to dinner there last night with a friend. She ordered the Marie Antoinette crepe and I ordered Trout Almondine. Both meals were excellent. I would highly recommend eating there.

Had the most DELICIOUS dinner last night! I had duck confit, my husband had steak frites. We were both so impressed! The orange reduction with my duck was a highlight, and the steak was a large portion and high quality. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, which almost scared us away, but everything we tasted was fantastic. Highly recommend, and can’t wait to come back for brunch. Sorry we didn’t grab photos, too busy eating and reminiscing about visits to France.

I really wanted to like this place, but my siblings and I unfortunately had our worst experience at a restaurant so far.The ugly part:- My fist sister ordered a chicken tajine (North African dish), as she wanted to add something new/different to our mix of dishes. Both sisters felt the chicken and the rice weren't fresh and there was a weird aftertaste, but wanted to believe it was just a spice and the first ate it anyway. The next day she spent 3 hours in the ER crying her life out before getting admitted, and just got out after 2 nights / 3 days in the hospital to continue her recovery at home. The doctors said it was gastroenteritis (food poisoning).- My other sister had a couple of bites of that tajine and later also had an issue with her coffee. She wanted some milk with it and when she added it to the coffee there were some weird bubbles. She checked that milk separately and it was very clearly bad. She got another coffee but that was the 2nd alert of the night. She also had to go to the ER the next day, but thankfully she was out a few hours later and is feeling good 3 days later.- We don't live together and only met at the restaurant for this dinner, so the common denominator was easy to find. I didn't touch any of the dishes above and I've been totally fine. My main issue was that I ordered a "chèvre chaud" salad and they were super cheap with it, filling the plate with lettuce and placing 2 pieces of cheese on it. For $18 that's a stretch. The sides of rice for our various dishes were also pretty small but it wasn't an issue to be honest. Only mentioning this given what happened after our dinner. - My brother was visiting from Paris and had a steak frites to see how it compares to what he's used to at home. The steak was okay but the fries were, sorry to say, below Mac Donald's. Super thin and soggy, as if they had been unfrozen and then fried in warm oil. Unless they weren't fresh...- Our server was very nice but the addition of a 20% gratuity on the bill was not. We didn't complain and paid but given the experience with the food, it felt excessive and preposterous The good part / redeeming qualities - As already mentioned, the server was nice and overall did a nice job. The problem came from the kitchen, with dishes that didn't taste good and got some of us seriously ill.- We had some good wine and beers + a quick chat with the cook (owner?) at the end of the night, he was friendly too. I believe he's Algerian, hence the tajine dish on the menu.- We had other dishes: my duck confit was fine (except for the soggy fries too), the salmon was fine as well (although the side was tiny).- The venue is not fancy by any stretch but nonetheless there's something charming about it.All considered, I'd be curious to know the health inspection score of this place as I suspect there's a lot of shady stuff going on in that kitchen. Next time I'm in town and crave French food, I'll look for another restaurant and would neither return nor recommend this one to my friends.

Plenty of flavor, beautiful presentation, and the friendliest chef/owner in town.
