Had a wonderful late afternoon dinner at this location. Food was exceptional and service even better. Nice work
The kitchen closes at 10pm, we took the last reservation 9:15pm we arrived at 9:17pm, the restaurant was empty, We were rushed all the way through the dinner, we felt that eyes were upon us. the check was brought to us without asking! Overall was a quite stressful dinner. Food was nice!
Wonderful dinner. Not a lot of people were there on a Friday night in early January. The food was delicious and our server was friendly and attentive.
Amazing experience! Beautiful location and view, delicious food, and incredibly warm service. Myra was fantastic—so kind, attentive, and wonderful with our kids. Highly recommend!
I’ve ordered from this restaurant before and the Chef Platter was fine as usual, which made this experience very disappointing.
This time we ordered the Taverna Platter with chicken shawarma, and it was honestly the worst chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. It was not shawarma at all — no seasoning, no shawarma spices, no grill flavor, and no char. The chicken was pale, bland, and tasted like plain shredded rotisserie chicken.
The smell was the worst part. The chicken had a strong rancid/off (Zankha) odor that made it completely inedible. Anyone familiar with Middle Eastern food knows this is unacceptable.
Considering the high prices, this was extremely disappointing. After this experience, I don’t feel confident ordering from here again.

A wonderful experience celebrating our son's birthday at Lebanese Taverna in Harbor East. The food was amazing as was the service. Our server was attentive and caring towards our youngest family members (two sibling toddlers that frequently break out in song). What a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Authentic Lebanese food with amazing service; I highly recommend the hummus, tabbouleh, and mixed kebab plate.

The best middle eastern food my husband and I had. So fresh and burst of different tastes! We absolutely loved it and service is top notch! If you are in harbor east in Baltimore it should be a must stop!

I absolutely LOVE it here!! As a vegan, it can be really hard to find good quality, delicious food in restaurants for myself, but i have so many options here. May favs are the falafel with hummus and tabbouleh. SO GOOD! I recommend this restaurant to everyone but especially vegans and vegetarians. We also had amazing service with a lovely waitress named Mira! She was so kind and informative and really made our experience special. She told us how they make the food and little fun, interesting facts about it. She also had great recs and she knew food allergies and dietary restrictions very well, which is such a relief to a vegan! Mira was truly incredible!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Lebanese Tawerna in Baltimore City for over 12 years, and today was the final straw. The place was completely dead, and now I understand why.
The sandwich they served me was an absolute disaster. The chicken looked dry, flavorless, and almost like boiled scraps. No sauce, no seasoning, nothing. The inside of the bread looked like someone just smeared something on it without even trying. Lettuce thrown in carelessly, tomato slices just sitting there, and overall the whole thing looked—and tasted—awful.
For a restaurant that used to have quality, this was total garbage. If this is what they are serving now, I’m not surprised the entire dining room is empty, just like in the photos. The service was slow, the food was disappointing, and the quality has gone downhill beyond repair.
After 12 years of supporting this place, I’m officially done. I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend anyone waste their money here unless they fix their standards completely.

The service and atmosphere are great, and the location is excellent. However, the meat quality was disappointing. The chicken dishes were fine, but overall the food didn’t fully meet expectations. All hot and cold appetizers are excellent.
