First of all, Lexington Market should be open later at night! Secondly, it should actually be a market, not just a food court. The Downtown area is a bit of a food desert, so it's hard to get groceries there and in the surrounding areas if you don't have a car. The new Lexington Market is nice, but I like the old one more. It was a missed opportunity to help people and bring affordable produce and groceries downtown, and it just feels less authentically Baltimore.
Absolutely fabulous, never been there and was overwhelmed by all there was to chose from. Got a loaded Baltimore Crab Potato, it was delicious. I tried to find them in the directory and did not see them ladies. It is right across from Restaurant Blue Island.

Always a pleasure to visit the market old or new. It is a bit different but basically the same vibe just a lil more organized & a bit more EXPENSIVE!! Overall I still LOVE LEX MRKT. but they need to open the old market back up & have more fresh vegetables, fruit, meat , something like an old farmer's market. feel to it.
