really wanted to try this place yesterday, but when showed up and it was closed.. no note on the door or update online. Really disappointed, but willing to go try it again if it’s actually open??

I’m not sure how this place has such high ratings. It’s basic.I got an omelette and French toast with berry compote on it.The omelette was straight forward. Nothing ground breaking. The French toast was basic. The berry compote was a lie. It was a flavored like jelly. No berries to speak of.

Terrible owner. I made a reservation for a group over a month in advance. Close to the event date, they had some sort of water leak and had to close for repairs, but I didn't know that. The owner avoided my many attempts to confirm the reservation, even hanging up on me. He could have told me that the cafe had to close temporarily, but instead he never responded to the messages I left. Poor, poor customer service! What kind of business owner does that?

I put in an order through GrubHub and the driver sent it to a neighbor’s house so I requested a refund through GrubHub. 2 hours later I get a phone call with a lady calling most likely a fellow co-worker stupid as I was answering. She presumed to try to fuss me out for putting in an refund instead of taking it up with GrubHub. Just for the rude lady calling me, I will not be ordering again. You have TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!

Cashier/Hostess took my order. Then told me what I was ordering which I thought was different than what I said. I caught what she did to charge me extra money. She says i dont have a key for the register i cant fix it. Customer comes in and orders coffee so register opens, I ask her to fix the issue. Then the classic language switch happened. Yelling Sir I can't fix it if the orders aren't with the money owner will take my job. What she doesn't know is that I work for a company that orders once or twice a week at $140 a week that I put through which comes out to $1,100 a month.Owner: This woman is losing $13,000 this year

One of my favorite spots in Fed Hill! Nice to just get some good food for an amazing price. Can never go wrong with the basics at Light St. The service is always so friendly & they are quick. I love going here & just grabbing a BLT on sourdough - can not go wrong here!

Had an awesome experience at this cafe. Went to go to another place in the area for breakfast, but it had too long of a wait. We were referred by a local business to check this place out. Cute little cafe, great food and awesome pricing. Had the western omelette with home fries and it was cooked perfectly. The gentleman and ladies behind the counter were very welcoming and graciously accomodated our party of 8. We were surprised and impressed about the quality of the food. Awesome little spot that deserves a lot more attention. Small businesses like this are where it's at! Will be coming again next time I am in the area

This place used to be great, but in the past year it has become frustrating and less enjoyable to dine here (pickup or dine in) because the front end of the restaurant can't keep up with demand. The back half has never changed. The food is always good, and done well for a diner and diner prices. The front end continuously makes errors in orders, is poor at fixing errors timely during a dine in, and incredibly slow or outright forgetful with drink orders related to coffee. The management here really needs to step up and help out the front end staff to either have a barista, or some other solution for helping the front end staff match the quality of their backend. It's a real shame because this place used to be awesome, and now I would rather spend my money elsewhere to avoid the long waits and frustration dealing with my order being wrong almost every time I come. These all seem like simple management things to fix, so I earnestly hope this feedback helps management take action to make this place awesome again.

I used to love this cafe. The owner is so sweet and fast with orders. This new women has taken over and has really made it quite terrible. She refused to make coffee (when they have multiple coffee/options), didn't have any cash for change, and was incredibly rude. I wish I could tell the owner how her business is turning out, bc I know she would be very upset.
