I actually come here pretty often. I like the lady bartenders way better. The bartender (James) is extremely slow. Or maybe it was just me? First off, he asked to hold my ID because I wanted to start a tab but I didn’t have my physical card. That’s fine. But literally he didn’t do that to anyone else. At least, not the ppl beside me who came and ordered drinks. So that was pretty odd. Plus, I ask for another shot and he completely “forgot” and started talking to other patrons. Like I said, this is MY spot. The bartenders know my face. I even talked to him a few times. Asking to hold my ID but no one else’s was weird.

Visited this bar on thanksgiving day, incredibly welcoming pub, with very reasonable prices. They had a free thanksgiving spread for everyone to help themselves. All the sports on the tv, a pool table, a jukebox, an owner and locals who were all up for a good time and a chat, couldn’t recommend this place enough for people visiting Baltimore.
A dive bar that’s actually got character and is clean…but best of all has an incredible story (ask about Phil), staff (especially James the bartender) that actually cares, and regulars that will quickly make you welcome. Did I mention this bar supports military personnel and James is a veteran himself?! This bar is great and deserves your support!

I recently visited Lil Phil’s in Baltimore and was blown away! This cozy neighborhood bar has such a welcoming vibe, you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. The bartender, James, is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready with great drink recommendations. They’re also incredibly supportive of the military, making it a great spot for service members to relax and feel appreciated. The pool table is a nice bonus, perfect for a laid-back game with friends. Prices are super reasonable, making it an ideal spot for an easy-going night out. With its great atmosphere, top-notch service, and military-friendly environment, it’s no surprise this place is quickly becoming a local favorite. Highly recommend checking it out!
