The food was not as tasty as I thought it’d be and lacked flavor. The goat was tough and chewy. Very little to no sauce leaving the rice dry. Though I was starving I still couldn’t enjoy the meal.

Terrible customer service rude and will not get the order correct I asked the person taking my order please no cabbage in allergic to it.and I leave the store and check and it has cabbage I bring it to the ladies attention and she says it is not her problem and I need to just deal with it or buy another plate. Will not ever be going here again and will make sure to let everyone I know to never go here again the least she could have done is replace the food but she wouldn’t even do that even though she admitted she knew I asked for no cabbage and she put it and said that was her fault but was unwilling to do anything to replace it.

This was first time ordering take out from this place. I have to say overall a good experience. I Odered the seafood soups a 2 sides, mozzarella sticks and fries. Cheat day, lol! I must say the soup was hearty and a good portioned. Also a plus everything is reasonably priced. I've seen places near here charge $8 for fries. The delivery guy was prompt and courteous. I'll have to try them again.

I love there j*** chicken breast. I hate there red beans and rice. It has no flavor. The cabbage is ok also lack flavor. The shrimp and grits are very watery like soup. I will never order it again. I wasted 70 dollars. I’m so sorry and disappointed. If I ever return it will be for the j*** breast meat ONLY!!!!!!!!!

This was my first time ordering from Lisa's and I was Desiring some oxtails. I ordered the dinner which there was plenty for two servings. The dinner was pretty good but it just needed a little more seasoning not necessarily with salt. The oxtails were practically falling off the bones. I'm not a big fan of plantains but I'm not saying they were bad or tasted bad. The Cabbage was great and the red beans and rice as well. I will definitely order from them again and encourage others to give them a try. I ordered through GrubHub and my food actually came earlier than the time they gave me so I'm happy with the delivery.

I recommend Lisa's. I ordered for pick-up using stupid Google, and the order didn't go through right, but the matriarch was apologetic and helpful. The portions were generous for the price, and the seasoning was good. I'm a mountain man who recommends this island food. A nice addition to Mount V & Midtown.
Coconut shrimp is perfectly crispy. The beef patty was incredible and so satisfying. The oxtail, rice, and beans were delicious and filling. My new favorite local eat!!

First time trying Lisa's.The oxtails were sweetand cabbage a little too salty but palatable. Aftera couple of bites I got sick to my stomach andfood came right back up. Not sure if there issome cross contamination going on in thekitchen but I've never gotten sick immediately after eating food. Sad but I will not be returning. An order of oxtails and curry goat.
