The food is amazing -the ingredients used are fresh and seasonal and put together with a lot of thought and care to make delicious and unique dishes. The atmosphere is spot on- its like casual and elegant at the same time and there's always a nice buzz in the place but there's also usually a couple spots at the bar whenever I go . The service is top notch- thoughtful and attentive without being too much. This place is just what the neighborhood was missing. *chefs kiss*

Love, Pomelo is on a clear path to earning a Michelin star. We did the pre-fixe menu with wine pairings, and every course was flawless. The black truffle pasta was rich and unforgettable, the caviar was perfectly balanced, and the chef’s special duck breast was easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted—crispy skin, tender meat, and beautifully presented.
Service was warm, knowledgeable, and well-paced. The wine pairings elevated every bite and made the night feel effortless and refined.
If you’re looking for an elevated, intimate culinary experience, Love, Pomelo is it. Absolutely worth every penny.

If there's a knock to be had, it's that the dishes aren't doggy-bag big. Grab some tacos on Eastern Ave or a slice offa the Square or Broadway on the way home. Busting your gut isn't the point.

Impeccable service and ambiance - our waiter was very attentive, and we had multiple waitstaff come to our table to replace cutlery, clean off crumbs, etc. Perfect for a date night. However, the food was just okay (aside from the Amatriciana which was delicious); we felt that there were too many risks taken with some of the recipes like the tuna crudo and the branzino. The portion sizes were small for the price.

This might have been the best dining experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the standard of service and excellence was undeniable. Everyone was wonderful, but our server Zach stood out with his warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism.
At one point during dinner, we mentioned a trip we have planned to Europe this summer. To our surprise, the staff later presented us with a beautifully printed card full of travel recommendations. That kind of personal touch is rare, and it meant a lot.
The food? FANTASTIC. There was one dish that wasn’t available—not because they lacked the ingredients, but because that day’s shipment didn’t meet their high standards. That level of integrity is impressive and says everything about their commitment to quality.
One moment that really struck us: we told Zach the restaurant felt like it could easily earn a Michelin star. His response was something like, “That would be great, but our mission is to serve our local community here in Baltimore, and that could change things.” That philosophy stayed with me. It’s clear they’re not just building a restaurant—they’re building a relationship with their community.
We’ll absolutely be back. Easily a 10/10 experience.

The green salad was a standout, with a flavorful dressing featuring tarragon and anchovies, complemented by crisp, fresh snap peas. Our main course, a white Bolognese, was rich and satisfying.
