Had a meal this evening. Food was mediocre. Walked in and no one was there. Bad sign. Service was quick and ok. I mean it wasn't terrible. Food came out in a decent time frame. That's good but it was definitely not worth the money. Especially the surprise up charge if using a credit card which was not posted or pointed out to us. Ok that's fine. They have an ATM. OH WAIT, It's out of service. How convenient. And don't look up. The ceiling is literally falling apart as well as the bathrooms. For the price of the food, I would expect exceptional service, high end accommodations and mouthwatering food. I have been to many cities and have had amazing food at this price range and this is such a disappointment Baltimore. Will not be back and definitely will not recommend.

Facebook Review: Luna Del Sea is a must-visit restaurant in downtown Baltimore! Not only is it conveniently located for convention-goers, but it also offers some of the best food in the area. The menu is packed with delicious options at very reasonable prices, and the warm, welcoming staff makes every visit feel special. They go above and beyond to ensure you have an incredible dining experience—by the end of your meal, you’ll feel like part of the family. Marc (The tall one!) and Danny are legendary for service and attention to detail! The true heart of Luna Del Sea is its owner, Tony. His inspiring story of entrepreneurial success is a testament to hard work and determination. If you’re in Baltimore, don’t miss the chance to enjoy the outstanding food, exceptional service, and uplifting atmosphere of Luna Del Sea. Highly recommend!

The service was nice. The food was OK. I want impressed with the oysters at all. They did not look appetizing or edible. I ate one and wasn't pleased with the taste either. The blackened seafood plate was ok. I just wasn't expecting tilapia for the fish as the fish type wasn't named on the menu. The service was very pleasant

The best oysters we'd had in a LONG time! Crab dip also excellent. A little pricey, but it was worth it.

$30 fried shrimp (8) were overcooked and perhaps overpriced. Only asked once about drink refills. Crabcake was good.

Our group of six - three couples - enjoyed a wonderful meal at this establishment, located within easy walking distance of our hotel. Everything was great from start to finish, with a shout out to our server, Breezy, who front-loaded us with very accurate descriptions of menu items and suggestions that did not disappoint! All six of us enjoyed their Seafood Bisque Special to start - a bowl of crab, shrimp and lobster bisque with a touch of marinara mixed in. We were off to an excellent start - we all loved it. Next, five of our group enjoyed their Greek Salad, which was modified to each diner’s request (croutons on, croutons on the side, add pepperoncnis, different dressings). Our server took it all in stride and delivered everything as requested without skipping a beat. I enjoyed their Broiled Seafood Trio (8 oz. crab, shrimp and scallops) and side of green beans and carrots. It was delicious - the crab was pure crab (with the most limited binder/filler used), the scallops and shrimp also perfectly prepared. The vegetables were as I prefer to enjoy them, with a little snap to them. In the end, only two of us had room for dessert. One chose the Blueberry Cobbler Cheesecake, the other the Chocolate Mousse Cake. Extra forks came with so others could sample each. Both were declared winners. All of us felt what we enjoyed was well priced and well worth it. Thank you, Breezy, and thank you, Luna Del Sea, for a great experience!

We checked the stars before going, and it sounded like it will be fine, but we were wrong. The service was good, no complaints. The bathroom was not, I told the waitress so she could relay it to whoever needs to add the toilet paper etc. The biggest downside was the food. My cream of crab was ok, I could eat it. However, the mussels were yucky, there was a “garlic” sauce which looked gross and it was too thick for the mussels, I did not enjoy them at all. Also they were not washed well and were crunchy with sand ugh. My daughter got chicken Alfredo because the other prices were ridiculous (thank god we didn’t get more expensive food to waste), and the chicken was so hard and chewy, could have been days and days old. The sauce was bland and too thick. We did not like anything at all.
Then the check came, and even though I did see on the menu that they automatically add 20% tip to all checks (!), I did NOT see anywhere that there are 2 prices on the check- left column for cash price, and right column for card price. What in the actual heck?! We had cash and I paid with that, and I did ask for change back since the tip was already added. It was whatever dollars and 83 cents I was supposed to get back, and how funny it was when my 83 cents were omitted conveniently and I was only brought the rounded down amount back. Wait, what?! I asked for the rest of my money back for that audacity. I do not recommend this place at allz

We hosted our DashRoots event here today, and it was the best setting! Great service, lots of nearby parking, and amazing food. Thank you to Tony, the owner, and Scott, the manager, for allowing us to host this event. The staff was incredibly helpful in assisting us throughout the duration of our time here. I can't emphasize enough that if you want to host an event in Baltimore with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and an attentive staff, this is the place for you!

First off they would not seat us for dinner and took names of folks coming after us and made us wait.
Then the biggest surprise was the price for crab cakes. It said market price in the menu but we ended up getting a bill of $75 for one order of crab cake.
This place is definitely not fancy enough for such price and the crab cake though good was definitely not worth $75.
I would not go there again.

Grabbed some lunch crab cakes at the best place in Baltimore inner harbor. Been stopping here for the last 16 years each time I'm in Baltimore. The crab cakes are better than anywhere else. Tried the seafood bisque and it was phenomenal. Stop in and say hit to the owner Tony, he seems to be there whenever I stop in.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! The waitress was rude, and took forever to do anything! My daughter tried to stop her to ask for napkins and she very rudely said, give me a minute then I watched her standing at the bar talking to other staff! The absolute worst experience!!! Do not waste your time or your money!
