First time at Marta's for the three of us. Tried three appetizers (sheep's milk ricotta with butter, octopus caciattore and the arancini milanese) and we all enjoyed them with a nice bottle of Ruvet Barbera d'Alba which was a perfect pairing to stand up to the richness of our entrees (Bronzini and honey glazed sea bass with a delightful caviar and lobster sauce). We will be back for sure! And next time we'll be sampling what looked like a wonderful collections of pasta!
Went to celebrate my 21 birthday with my sisters and mom everything was delicious the area is small so it can get loud so be aware of that. We didn't mind the loud noise so our time there was amazing can't wait to come back

We had such a phenomenal experience at Marta for the first time! Holly behind the bar is an absolute STAR! She has such a shining personality, and she makes the BEST cocktails that I have had in such a long time. Neal is an incredible server. He took such good care of us and made our dining experience something really special and worth remembering. The food was amazing. You can teach people to make good drinks, to create a great atmosphere, to cook delicious food… but when it all comes together under one roof in one seamless experience it is truly something special. Neal, Holly, and staff at MARTA- you all are superstars and you all deserve the highest of praise! I will be a fan of you all (and therefore of MARTA) for years to come. See you all again soon.

My partner and I have been here a few times now, and as always, it is a wonderful experience. I enjoy how the cocktail list changes with the season, and their pasta and mains are always delicious. Do not skip on appetizers though! We tried the tuna cannoli, which was perfectly balanced in flavor and textures. Previously, we’ve had the beef tartare and octopus, both of which were exceptional. A gem of a restaurant for the neighborhood.

Came to Marta for my birthday dinner and the food was very nice. We had the arancini, which was perfectly melted in the center. We had the fois gras, wonderfully balanced with the beets and compote and microgreen on the side; it was served with crostini - nothing on that plate was out of place and gave the most perfect bite. I had the branzino which came out hot (and stayed hot basically to the end of the meal), good char on outside, paired well with the green beans and cannelini beans. I think my favorite part of that dish though were the brightness and sweetness that the roasted roma tomatoes added to this overall savory dish. My husband had the skirt steak and said it was really good. We had the bomboloni and apple crostada for dessert. Fillings in the bomboloni were nice, I think the dough was fried slightly too long. Apple crostada was so delicious - crisp warm pastry with melted ice cream, what more could you ask for? For drinks, I had tried the lunar eclipse (not pictured) and hot blooded, both complex flavor profiles, hot blooded had a spicy kick! As far as atmosphere, it was dark/intimate, beautiful decor. It was a busy dinner service so noise level was a bit high, but in a way, you are in your own world with your dinner companion. Can't wait to come back and try some of their other dishes!

Spectacular restaurant. Great execution from start to finish. All selections delicious. Talented chef. It's a little loud due to room acoustics. But that's the only negative . Parking a little challenging but we e been lucky each time. Servers kind and well trained.

Everytime i come to Marta it is fantastic. Service, food, and drinks are all outstanding. Holly the bar manager is an absolute gem. She is so welcoming, bubbly, and attentive. Makes me feel so special everytime I visit! Will 100% be visiting again soon!
Restaurant is small inside, the service was excellent and the food was good, not sure that I'm dying to go back anytime soon, but I would recommend it to a friend. Unfortunately, we were sitting at a makeshift table that was right behind the hostess stand, and in the immediate walkway of staff coming in and out of the bar, so I felt like I kept having to move my chair in more than I would comfortably like to every time one of the staff needed to go into the back bar.

TL;DR this is my new favorite restaurant in Baltimore. I've heard nothing but good things about Marta for the past year or so and it's been on my list. My man surprised me with dinner reservations here for my birthday and I was so happy he did! I might be biased because the menu happened to have every single one of my favorite dishes - whipped ricotta, lobster ravioli, and donuts. Everything we had was top tier but I was so impressed by the menu that I will likely try new dishes the next time we go. Which would usually feel risky and make me anxious, but I trust that every dish here is good. DRINKS- I ordered the ""Mela Frizzante"" and didn't realize it had cinnamon in it. The waiter took it back with no hesitation and brought over the ""Long Winter"" instead. This was pretty good, but I'd probably try a different drink next time! APPETIZER- Sheep's Milk Ricotta 10/10 - amazing! I thought the bread portion was a bit small...ratio of crostinis to whipped ricotta seemed off. Comes with 3 crostini pieces. We were ready to order some additional bread but the waiter caught on and before we could, offered to bring us some more crostini to finish off our whipped ricotta. and the crostini came out so warm!! Absolutely delicious. Loved the truffle honey too! ENTREE- Lobster Raviolo 10/10 - this was almost too beautiful to eat. but I'm glad I decided to eat it anyway. lobster ravioli is my go-to dish so I've had it many times, but this was my first time having it as raviolo (one big pasta noodle). It was a fun take on the dish and I would definitely order again. this was a chef's special so not sure how long they will be offering this dish! Honey Glazed Seabass 10/10 - delicious! It came with this beautiful lobster caviar sauce. My husband's dish so I just had a little taste. But it was yummy!" DESSERT- Bombolini 10/10 - Love donuts so I HAD to order these.
