Had the special, tuna melt. It had grilled onions on rye!! Did not disappoint.

Amazing old bar in Baltimore. Takes you back to years passed. Cheap beer and whiskey. Wish this was the corner bar at home. If you are in Baltimore or call Baltimore your home you should check it out. Hope I can get back to Baltimore and have a few beer in Mary's Tavern again!

The last of the Baltimore dive bars. One of, if not the last of the corner bars near the Inner Harbor - a no frills, neighborhood bar with cheap drinks. Too small for a pool table to garner 5 stars but a must do for Baltimore of old.

Marys Tavern makes you feel as if you've stepped back in time to a simpler bygone era. The minute you walk in the door you will be greeted by the owner/bartender Jim who takes great pride in serving you the coldest beer in the most polite and inviting way. The decor will take you back to 50s or 60s with its vintage signs and its colorful jukebox putting out songs from Sinatra or Elvis. Just a great neighborhood corner bar with excellent prices.

My fiancé said he went here. Not sure it exists but he says he took my hot college friend with him. She also seems to remember it fondly. I highly recommend it, if it’s not a figment of their imagination. I’d love to see it.
