Delivery order from Arlington store.
$4.00 for a 5.5 oz condiment container of very weak cole slaw is ludicrous (I've had larger servings of catsup to go with fries)! It tasted like somebody forgot the vinegar and there was absolutely no fresh pepper. The NE clam chowder bowl (more resembling a cup than bowl) contained a sum total of 2 large pieces of clam and 5 or 6 very small pieces, all without taste and rubbery. The soup's cream sauce tasted like someone had used clam water instead of clam juice, a very weak taste, again with no fresh ground pepper (nor butter taste at all). The Bar Harbor Bacon Lobster roll was an even bigger disappointment, how does a roll with mayo and tomato on it end up dry? The included tail was both tasteless and very rubbery, even allowing for delivery time.
Food was worse than a tourist trap clam shack on Rt 1 in Maine just a block off the beach. I've had bigger sides of slaw included just to top a pulled pork bbq sandwich even in New England!
Overall: VERY OVERPRICED, not quality prepared food with many obvious cost cutting techniques poorly executed. Based on this delivery order, it is extremely unlikely I will actually try their dine in. (This is the worst review I have written, you really need to f it up for me to spend the time.)
I’ve been to other Mason’s before… and they have great lobster rolls…however…this location gave me the worst lobster roll Ive ever had in my life. i got the CT roll…but it was dry and flavorless. Can’t recommend this location
Best lobster roll 🥐
Food was absolutely delicious 🤤
Good lobster, tho the salad greens and dressing were marginal. I did like the clam chowder. It was VERY hard to find - the signage was really lacking. It vastly needs improvement.
Jessica is so lovely, will come again
Fast food lobster … no complaints
Delicious Lobster roll! Great price and location.
Great lobster roll. Quick service. Got it cold with mayo.
So good that we ate here twice! Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite.

Real talk we don’t eat lobster often, but wanted the experience. I can only assume pricing was decent because of the lobster, but I wouldn’t do it again. Had the lobster Mac for $16, and the big harbor for $26. I don’t mind the price if the items are amazing, but it wasn’t hitting on much. The bread on the sandwich was actually the best part to me. Lobster Mac is a 2.
My spouse and I enjoyed our Valentine’s Day lunch, where the lobster rolls were hot, dripping with butter, and the roll was toasted nicely! My husband was disappointed that his favorite soft drink was out and the cashier kindly gave us paper towels because they had no napkins, but the facility was very clean. Glad I saw it while driving around. I would come back again! Wishing Walter and the other Mason’s employees success this spring!
I like this chain but I have tried this location twice and both times they have been closed HOURS before the time listed on the door. Don’t waste your time in the evenings. They obviously don’t want the business.
Great lobster roll and soup for lunch. Environment was average service was average. Kind of pricey, but not too bad.
Very good lobster roll. Was impressed how good it was for being a chain
