Its always amazing to support family owned small businesses. When it comes to cafes especially I would never ever choose a Starbucks or a Dunkin to an incredible local choice like Matriarch Coffee (I'd never go to a Starbucks or Dunkin period though lol). The staff are always SUPER nice, SUPER helpful, and SUPER fast. The ambiance is exactly what you need out of a coffee spot - Calm and chill vibes. If you're in the area any you're looking for a coffee please or need a new local coffee spot to be a regular at - look no further!

Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff.
Wonderfully roasted, brewed and served coffee. Delicious breakfast foods from furot parfaits to bagels of many types. The music is great for watching the harbor tides roll in or the (during winter) ice skaters enjoy the ice. Do your self a favor and come enjoy the flavor. We heart this matriarch!

Wonderful spot and great coffee! Was lucky enough to visit on a Saturday and got to try the Sagamore Whiskey drip coffee. It was incredible! Will definitely be back every time we are in the area.

Coffee was underwhelming for the price. I had a small drip coffee because a medium latte is $6, which seemed a bit steep. Was it alright? Sure. Would I come back? Prolly not.

What a cute little coffee shop right on the Harbor! The coffee was fantastic and we went on a weekday so it wasn’t busy at all. There are not a lot of tables, so visits during busy times might not be as enjoyable.

Amazing experience at this coffee shop. The staff was friendly, service was quick and the atmosphere was quiet to get some work done. I loved the meaning behind their name. Their pumpkin muffin was delicious as well!

The best coffee. The Sagamore barrel aged coffee is a must try and buy.

Best pumpkin latte I've had! It beats any of the chains hands down, now question. In case that wasn't enough, the staff was awesome and it's a super cute spit on the harbor. I had to go back a second day to support them and try another flavor. The butterscotch latte wasn't as good as the pumpkin but I'll definitely be back for more!
