I’ve been coming here since I was a toddler and love it every time. So glad they’re still around.

The food was ehhh, I got the vegetable fried rice which was the only good thing I ate from my order and I got the spicy California roll and the soft shell crab roll which were both disgusting. The California roll barely had any crab or avocado in it plus the cucumber took up the majority of the roll;it also didn’t taste that great either. & the soft shell crab roll was the WORST, it was extremely salty and fishy tasting, I hated it. I will never go here again.

Matsuri Japanese Restaurant is a must-visit for delicious food and a great vibe. The Matsuri Special Roll is a standout--so flavorful! The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it a top spot for a tasty meal. Can't wait to go back for more! Thanks, Matsuri, for the awesome dining experience!

Matsuri is my favorite homey neighborhood Japanese restaurant. Our typical order consists of their miso soup and edamame, and I love trying their different Special Rolls. The service is excellent and staff is so friendly!

The best sushi in Federal Hill. My go to is the spicy yellowtail, spicy salmon, or spicy california roll. Staff is so friendly and I am so happy to have them reopened!

The sushi was amazing! The best roll combos I’ve ever seen on a menu. I recommend the orioles roll???

Was hoping to find a good teriyaki & Japanese food spot in Baltimore. This was not it, and I was surprised at the high ratings online. The sashimi was pretty poor quality (some pieces slimy, fishy), and the soba noodles needed a lot more sauce. Sushi rolls were okay, but it did not seem like the food was freshly prepared. Best to stick to Ellicott City for any sort of Asian cuisine.

This was my first time going here. I was going to meet up with some friends and we all wanted asian cuisine. It's hard finding a good restaurant with good food and service. I'm not from Maryland so I was a little hesitant not knowing if I would like this restaurant. The servers were really nice. The food was AMAZING. Would 100% go back.

Great to see Matsuri open again after their reconstruction. They seem very happy to welcome guests again. We were warmly welcomed, and enjoyed an excellent selection of appetizers and sushi. I especially recommend their Dragon roll and volcano roll.

Recommended by a friend this Baltimore gem earned the rare 10/10. All in Food, Service, Atmosphere. Ordered Chicken Katsu Curry, Teriyaki Steak, Stir Fry Udon, Oriole Roll. All packed with flavor, that not many can achieve. Distinct yet unique taste. Seated quickly and served with care and a smile on a random Thursday. The Ribeye Teriyaki Steak truly is a must try. Couldn’t take a picture of any other food because it was quickly eaten.

This restaurant/location is closed down. I tried to go today 07/02/23, and the place was boarded up. The police stood in the front of the entrance/door. Just a heads up if anyone is trying to go here. I'm not sure what happened.

The first time my husband and I went here, we were extremely young and didn't know what this extra charge on our receipt was. We thought it was the tip included. As we went to leave, an older woman approached us and yelled at us for not tipping. We apologized but she was so loud that everyone stopped and stared at us. We felt so embarrassed. We honestly didn't know it wasn't an included tip. We tipped and apologized but she kept giving us a scathing glare and we just felt embarrassed and ashamed. I wanted to cry. It was an honest mistake and she made it seem as if we didn't pay the bill or did something horrible. This was years ago. The staff now are very nice and the food is delicious but that memory forever sticks in my mind.

The restaurant was not even open. It was closed for renovations. How does open table allow and even confirm my reservation for a restaurant that has NOT been open for 1.5 months. TERRIBLE

Nice little sushi corner, albeit it's actually Chinese owned. Sushi was ok, enjoyed the atmosphere.
