Today I had the worst experience with this place!!!! My family and I ordered a cheese pizza and sat down to wait for it. When it was done we were told we couldn’t sit in there to eat! I asked why and the lady that works here told me because I ordered carry out and she already wrapped my food up. I than told her thanks for wrapping my food but I wanted to eat in. I than found myself going back and forth with her and I left because she said we couldn’t eat here! I’ve NEVER eaten here before so this place most definitely has a race issue!!!! I will never come here again! PS. My pizza was burnt and I threw it away!

It’s mind blowing to see the volume of crab meat added to Matthew’s Crab Pizza.
They don’t hesitate or hold back on what seems like mountains of lump crab meat toppled on. Finally, it’s an absolute pleasure & treat to consume. I highly recommend dinning in so you can immediately jump on it when it’s done.
I always order one to go also, even if I have leftovers. I’m coming from Seabrook.

I happened to be at hopkins Bayview for an appt and a nurse told me Matthews had her most favorite pizza. I had to try it. She was right. The crust was caramelized, and it had the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Delicious! And I have to say that the lady at the counter was the nicest, most down to earth person. I loved talking with her while waiting. I'll be back when I'm in the area!

This place is everything you would expect from a pizzeria. Consistent with every visit. Although the ownership has changed over the years the recipes haven't. This restaurant was enjoyed by my father as a child and now me every time I'm in Baltimore. That's a span of over 60 years.

Very unique style of pizza base with good cheese. Would recommend.
Don't come here and order spaghetti w/ meatsauce, because it's just a meatball chopped up with sauce and the pasta is way over cooked. I ordered the appetizer meatballs and italian sausages and it came out cold. So, if I was you just stick to their pizzas. We'll just keep coming in for pizzas and the subs. We know that those are really good.

Matthew's is my favorite neighborhood pizzeria with only one other that I normally consider. I admit it has been awhile since I've been here, but I've not been in the neighborhood in a long time. I found it comforting that the pizza and the service have not changed. I have never been disappointed when I choose to enjoy food from Matthew's.
