Max's Taphouse is one of my favorite spots in Fells Point sometimes service can be a little tough here because there's usually only one bartender however it is a fantastic spot and one of the oldest bars in Fells Point I highly recommend you at least visit once in order to check it out there's so many bars in Fells Point it's hard to hit them all but this is one of my favorites the food is fantastic beer selection is great however I did ask the bartender about cider and he immediately said we only have it in cans which was wrong they had two different ciders on draft so maybe just read the menu for yourself since it seems to bartender may not know exactly what's on draft. If you are a cider fan I highly recommend you check out the DownEast fall cider it is delicious and on draft I'll recommend it since the bartender didn't even seem to know!

Gotta give this place 5 stars. Visiting Balti for a boys trip, we wanted a sports bar for a good Sunday fun day and very happy we chose this spot. The whole atmosphere was fun and everyone was geared up for football. The beer selection here is insane, SO many top-tier selections. Food was great as well, we ordered a ton but the two unanimous favorites were the wings (5 stars, must try) and the barnyard burger 🔥🔥🔥. Everything else was decent, although the pit beef sandwich was mediocre, only thing we weren't crazy about/ disliked. The service here was great too; the staff walking around bussing the tables was 11/10 working full throttle.. full bar and not a single empty glass sat on our table for more than 2 minutes without being cleared off (please give this guy a raise -- we were there 9/21 afternoon). I explored the entire Fell St area in my inebriated state in order to scope the scene for a possible bar swap mid day just to switch it up, but after poking around in every single establisbment in the area I didnt feel that anything out-matched Max's. We stayed here all day and didn't regret it.

Super fun place! We were upstairs and it was a very chill vibe. It was quiet enough to talk but still super fun and not super expensive! I would absolutely go again
Stopped by on a Tuesday around lunch to have a beer and decided to get some food as well. We had the barnyard burger and damn was it good. So so messy but very good. Burger patty, pulled pork and bacon with cheese and some kinda sauce. I bet this place is really hoping on a Saturday night. The bartender was really friendly.

Recently arrived in Baltimore from the Uk and was looking for a pub/diner to have some drink/food. Went there this Sunday when Baltimore ravens were playing and the atmosphere was amazing. Not to mention the bar staff who carried out impeccable service with both food and drink. Will definitely recommend and return again next time I come back to the states

Max’s Taphouse, you did your big one with your buffalo wings! They a flavorful, crispy and have a smokey hint at the end. These are the most flavorful wings that I have had in a WHILE! Don’t change a thing & I will definitely be back for 2 orders the next time! If you haven’t had their wings, I feel like saying “you’re missing out” is an understatement.
