Traveled a ways to celebrate a family member’s birthday. It was my first time coming to this establishment. I entered and there was no greeting or anything. The ppl I was suppose to meet told me to go straight upstairs when I arrived. As I was walking, an older guy who was sitting, stated he’s the manager, stopped me and asked for my I.d. I left my license home but, I had a copy in my virtual wallet. As I went to pull it up, he stated that he couldn’t accept an image so I asked what difference does it make if I show the physical or a photo in my phone it’s not like they were scanning the license and that went left. We had a heated argument and I never got the chance to even show the I. D. From my virtual wallet because he wasn’t listening and felt the need to keep getting smart so that ended in me getting put out and he threatened me with the police. I asked him to get them but, he didn’t. I don’t plan on going back to this establishment and wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.
Parking: Had to walk far in the freezing cold. There’s not parking lot

Fun bar in the heart of Fells Point. Always a great selection of beer from breweries both near and far. It’s great to see them supporting the up and coming local breweries by offering their beer on tap as well.

From the massive collection of very enjoyable beers spirits and whiskey to the amazing food and atmosphere and bartenders whose knowledge will help a novice beer drinker to find the perfect beverage for their pallet Max’s Taphouse will always be my number 1 choice. 5 stars for their draft beer selection. It's amazing. Not just craft mediocrity beers either; they have lots of great beers from around the world. The food was typical pub fare and was good enough. Prices average. Service was a difficult while there was a crowd. I made the mistake of keeping the tab open instead of closing it out with each order. It took me about 10 minutes jammed in there to get my check.

Good venue but super rude lady working the karaoke. She would randomly curse people out who were just waiting in line. When trying to tell the bartender, she also automatically sided with the karaoke lady. Staff here is really bad

I really enjoyed the variety of beer available here. We came with a group and I think that influx of people hindered the experience. This seems like a cool place in a unique location! Prices weren’t outrageous, I’ll probably come back!
