After visiting the Baltimore aquarium, my wife,son, his girlfriend, and her younger twin sisters, visited this restaurant. The vibe was really cool. The food was good and the service was good. I do recommend this place.

2/27/24 Great place. Visting. Cool locals to have a drink with. Very easy going cool atmosphere. Good Food. Lots of local beers to use from from. I am from St. Louis visting. And this is a great place to havr Food and drinks and explore the Area. The kitchen closed at 9pm. However they was nice enough to take my order even tho it was 5 mins pass kitchen time. Yes recommend this place.

Stopped in for a quick beer with a friend. The bartender was very nice and lots of beer options and local beer. We didn't eat since we were just having a pre dinner drink. Nice spot near the boats and water. I'm sure in the summer time it's very busy here and a great spot.

Like most places in Fells Point, Max's has also unfortunately declined in many ways over the past ~10 years. Service isn't what it used to be, beer menu and freshness is also up for debate compared to times past, but the smell of this place has become almost unbearable. It's a stale beer, dirty college bar kind of smell and it hits you hard and instantly when you walk in, it's enough to make some turn right back outside.
