worst mcdonald’s i’ve ever been too.

This was the McDonald's on Carlisle Street in Hanover PA. Was there to pick up a carryout order. Was given a specific time to be there to pick up. At arrival time the food still was not ready, I had waited 10 minutes in the lobby, I asked the girl how much longer, she said a few more minutes they're waiting for one item. While waiting I was noticing cars consistently leaving the drive-thru after they got their orders. At this point I asked to speak to the manager. I had said this was an order that was placed ahead of time before pickup I got here at the pickup time waited 10 extra minutes and at that time I'm steadily noticing cars getting their food and leaving to drive through and my food still is not ready. This is when the manager tells me all well they made your food wrong your sandwiches were made wrong so now they have to remake your order. My response to that was since you already had 10 minutes even 15 minutes before my arrival and then 10 more minutes of me here waiting in the lobby don't you think you should have mentioned that to me while I was already standing here for 10 minutes instead of your employee telling me Oh we're just waiting on your sandwiches. At that time I had asked the manager well how much longer the answer was just a few more minutes. Still watching the cars in the Drive-Thru get their food and drive away. At this point a total time of 30 minutes 4A order that was ordered online ahead of time. I just walked out without the food. For those that don't know this the managers and the general managers they all get quarterly bonuses the drive-thru has like 2 minutes 3 minutes from the time the car hits the ordering box to leaving the drive-thru as long as the times are made they get a bonus. Say within 90 days they have to get 8,000 vehicles through that drive-thru with under 3 minutes they get a hell of a bonus. This is why when you're inside McDonald's and they're more worried about the drive-thru that's because that's the agenda for the managers. I know this because my niece and her best friend are assistant manager and general manager for Wendy's and they also used to work for McDonald's.

Terrible service, I made an online order of a happy meal alone and I was not supposed to have staff to go to leave the orders at the assigned place so I came in because I asked for it, I made the order at 7.18 and they delivered it to me at 7.45 just for a happy meal seriously and they still get angry because I claim my order, terrible service and they should change to all that ball of good for nothing.

Absolutely awful from start to finish. I waited in the drive through line for over 20 mins. The girl that took my payment walked away after I paid without saying thank you, have a nice day, or anything at all. I sat and waited for someone to give me my receipt bc I just knew my food was going to be messed up. Finally I made eye contact with another girl and when I asked for my receipt she stuck her finger up and shut the window!!!! She FINALLY gave me a receipt and I pulled up to get my order. It was absolutely disgusting!! It was COLD and not just a little bit cold!!! It sat in the drive through window for 20+ mins and it’s 40 degrees outside!!!! I can assure you I will starve before I would ever come back to this place!!!!! They need to fire the entire staff and start over!!!

If you're using the drive thru it's quick... but if you go inside expect to wait 20 minutes and be met the poor attitudes and missing items.

Did a mobile order and they were taking longer than expected. It was busy there but fast food is no longer fast. Just expect longer wait times than what the app is telling you. If they are that busy they should stop uber orders. Save your time and money and go to another location unless you have time to waste.

This location is very sad. They either forget your food. Or the food the is low quality and you have to come back for a refund. And the service is slow. Just drive another 10 minutes down the road.

There's credit card skimmers being used at this location!!! When asked to deal with it, both the manager and the owner were extremely unprofessional. If you value your money you'll go to another location.
