Great service, the horchata was delicious, and the vibe was super charming.

Nice place and food. We both enjoyed it. But, as others have said, the gratuity tip really rubbed me the wrong way. Not showing me the receipt upset me aswell. I am not sure I can recommend the place because of this.

mediocre at best, i don’t know what people find here. incredibly overpriced for food lacking in flavor and character. falafels were bland and dry. wings were soggy and super mid. chicken kabsa bowl was decent but nothing special, and definitely not at that price point. like i said, lacking in flavor and punch. i do appreciate that all of the food is healthy good food but that’s about it. small portions and subpar service too. i would not visit again.

Food was ok. 20% tip included? No thanks! If included, that’s not a tip. Pay your staff decent wages. Now I regret tipping at all ( after I said no to the included tip).

Stopped by on the way to Baltimore Penn Station as it’s just a short walk. Lovely ambiance and incredible food. I had the crushed lentil soup and chicken kebsa bowl. The chicken was well seasoned and delicious. Highly recommend!

Wow! Mera kitchen was amazing!!! The space was cozy and cute. I love that it is a worker owned coop. We only ate tapas because there were so many good options we didn’t even make it to the larger plates! I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back!
We got the mango chicken wings, tamales, eggplant dip, date chocolate, and one of the other desserts we ended up ordering every small plate 2x because it was so delicious!
We got a mezcalita and lemonade and they were fabulous.
I would give 6 stars if it was an option.
Deliciously flavorful mix of cuisines

Though the individual dishes I ordered were delicious, there didn't seem to be a theme to the menu that would have made the dishes cohesive. Also, if you're trying to provide a living wage your workers, don't sneak in with an automatic tip. If this is an important ethic to your business, make it prominent for first-time diners to see and understand. Tips are not automatic, there should be up to the individual diner to choose.
