I had heard great things about the fish sub, but when I tried it the fish didn’t seem very fresh and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. I was a little disappointed since I was looking forward to it.
I grew up addicted to the fish special! As a kid, my family would travel from NC to MD for church services held at 3100 North Ave. Well, Mike’s was right there and the aroma of the food would always draw us over there to place an order. ? I haven’t been to Baltimore since 2018 and haven’t been to Mike’s in almost 23 years but for the past few months I’ve been craving that oh-so-good Mike’s fish sub! ??? That’s how perfect it is - that after all these years, my taste...
Food is always good! The guys cooking are always so respectful. This place is a hood staple. Make sure you are prepared for the scenery of a hood spot with great food. Area has changed alot but the food is still reasonable and good.
Parking: Sometime you have to park on side of the bank or across the street in front of the restaurant.
