If I wrote a review three months ago this would be 5/5, because my wife and I USED to be able to rely on Minato Sushi to follow allergy warnings and instructions. She has severe celiac and has BAD reactions to small amounts of gluten. Here is the instruction I've been pasting into our online order, which has been the same for about 6 orders in a row over the past 3 months: "NO SOY SAUCE (allergy) Box 1: Yellowtail Scallion Roll & Spicy Tuna Roll ONLY Box 2: 3-Roll Combo" Minato has either mixed tempura rolls (that are breaded) or put soy sauce (which has wheat in it) into box 1, 2 out of 4 previous orders. I don't know how to make the instructions more clear. Employees must just not care. If you want them to actually follow boxing requests you have to call the restaurant immediately after ordering your food online. This is the only way I've been able to ensure my wife's safety. Lame.

I enjoyed everything about this place. Get there and there were no other customers in the restaurant, so it was very quiet. Had a few rolls and an order of the shrimp and vegetable tempura. The eel rolls never disappoint but the tempura was more veg than shrimp. Nothing tasted past it's prime and price was not bad either. Overall food was decent but I really like the environment. Sat by the window and wasn't pressured to leave after eating must have spent two hours just chatting away before realizing still hadn't gotten the check.

They censored my Grubhub review so I'm going to post this everywhere. There were pubic hairs in my curry dumplings, and the noodles for my ramen were so undercooked the flour leeched into the broth. This was completely inedible and this isn't just incompetence, it is malice. I have spent hundreds of dollars here and wasn't planning on returning after this experience to begin with, but the cowardice and unwillingness to actually post or respond to my 1 star review is the most embarrassing thing I've witnessed a business do.

I absolutely love this is cozy and it has the best sushi and lots of other things to choose from I go here at least twice a month to eat it is my favorite place when I have extra money to go to especially cuz they have happy hour Monday through Friday which they have different rolls for like around 5 dollars If don't worry the rules are still only around $6.50.

Great happy hour spot! Fun place for a girls' sushi trip, and everything we tried was delicious. We couldn't decide on our favorite roll! We also tried a few different types of the happy hour dumplings and they were wonderful

This is my favorite sushi place in Baltimore! Always great sushi and service! Raj is a wonderful server and everyone is very welcoming! Nice looking space and the happy hour menu is well-priced.

LOVE Minato’s! We’ve been coming here for years, even when they were further down Charles St. Yum!Their HH can’t be beat. But even if you miss it, the options are vast and everything is delicious.

Happy hour was great. Had a lot of food for quite cheap. Ate shrimp, crab, and tuna rolls, and two fried snacks as well. I found the chicken dumpling a bit off but they comped it so all good.
