My first visit there and WOW! Had no idea the food would be that delicious like Momma used to make. I told 20 people and I'm going back! I got the Pot Roast, Collards and Mac and Cheese.

Not consistent. Today the home fries tasted very old and like they were warmed up. Not seasoned. Eggs weren’t seasoned either. Scrapple was burnt. I would not recommend this place and I’ve eaten here plenty of times and it’s gone downhill.

I ordered the steak, egg, and cheese sandwich with homemade fries. The sandwich was good, but the home fries truly stood out, they reminded me of my great grandmother’s cooking. Absolutely delicious and one of a kind. The owner was lovely, and I really appreciated her warm, giving spirit. Highly recommend.

Wife and I ordered the whiting fish dinner and it was delicious. We had the tasty cabbage and cheesy mac and cheese. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to carry out some down home cooking.

The pot roast meal is what I ordered the Mac and cheese taste bland and the cabbage taste like vinegar no flavor at all the only the that actually was good was the pot roast meat and yellow rice. The potatoes didn’t have no type of flavor like they was only boiled no butter flavor no seasoning or nothing .

Okay I tried this Spot on Uber Eats and let me say the mashed potatoes taste absolutely disgusting, ive never had mashed potatoes taste like what ive taste from that. It tastes like old pickle juice and windex 😭. The pot roast is a 6/10 I thought since it’s a pot roast it would have little carrots and stuff but no just the meat which was tender and pretty good. The collard greens was the best thing I had outta of the whole meal overall I rate my food a 5/10 them mashed potatoes is something I’ll never forget. I even tried to add my own seasoning and butter but no it’s no fixing them.

When I ordered I spent 100$ worth of food on 4/5/25 because I wanted to support a local black business. But was not happy. The quality of the food was not worth that price. I got the lamb dinner, the fish and beef sub, chicken and waffles, & party wings. The lamb dinner & wings was ok. my favorite was the fish sub, it was absolutely delicious 😋. However on the beef sub, she called me asking what I wanted on it. Which I requested lettuce, tomato, onions and mayo…and she put none of that on it 😑….It was sent with beef and cheese. the fries were burnt in all 3 dinners & the fish nuggets. It had a greasy old oil taste to it. And the fish nugget’s was burnt on the outside, undercooked & pink on the inside. It was mushy upon first bite and I spit it out. I placed my order on DD which I reported with them as well, in which they gave me a 15$ refund. The mushiness of the fish mess my head up, my tummy started turning & my whole appetite was ruined. if I could redo this order I would only ordered the fish sub & get collard greens instead of fries.

Everything was amazing💯💯 most of the time I will go to a soul food spot and something is off.. Nope not here everything was point.. my peoples had the steak she loved all her food too . I had lamb chops they were was juicy and tasty.. If you want some great soul food this is the spot .

I had a taste for a salmon cheesesteak and thought I would have to travel to the city to get one until Miss Erica’s kitchen popped up. I called and asked if it was available and she made it happen. The sub was delicious as well as the banana pudding. Thanks for accommodating me and I will be back

My sister in law told me and my fiancé about this place. Not only was the food good but the customer service was great❣️ I was able to call ahead and our food was done by the time we got there❣️The atmosphere was nice and inviting, it was a pleasure to support this black owned establishment❣️
We will DEFINITELY be back
